General Traag

The last week or so I've been watching all of the OT from the beginning again (let's just say I have a lot of time on my hands!), and today got to S03 E02, which features Usagi Yojimbo for the first time.
Right at the start General Traag appears to the Turtles in the street.
The Turtles not only know his name, but when they ponder whether he's met an untimely demise, Leo proceeds to say "last I heard he's still alive!" and in Dimension X.

When did the Turtles first meet him? Yes, I've been watching them in DVD order, and yes they have come up against a few Rock Soldiers as far as I can remember (it's also been a long week!), but when did they ever learn his name and know that he was in Dimension X?

Maybe I got distracted when that happened, and I've watched so many this week it could just have been pushed out my brain! (LOL) But I seriously don't recall them ever meeting him before this episode.

And yeah, I know, not everything is meant to make sense. I get it. I just was wondering if I had not been paying attention, being stupid, or if I am right!

Anyone?...

EDIT: Ok, so I googled around, and found that when he had been in the first season and chased the TMNT through the streets briefly. I do recall this now, but still, would they really have known who he was, and where he was from?

Uh, General Traag debuts as early as the 4th episode in Season 1. I'm surprised you don't know this.

^see my edit above. I knew he had been in it. I just hadn't remembered the chase through the streets (probably one of those moments where you go to the bathroom, and miss a vital part!)... but what I said in the edit still remains.
Maybe I'll re-watch it later and see how it really plays out!

The Turtles literally come face to face with Traag and Granitor after they shoot a missile through the arcade shop. They see them again in the Technodrome in the 5th episode.

Don and Mike fight Traag in the finale and push him through the portal back to Dimension x.

If it's any excuse, I've been dealing with wedding preparations, and immigration paperwork.
Watching the TMNT has been my escape from the madness of real life. I guess I've been too distracted and blocked Traag's initial appearance from my memory LOL!
