New Smash Bros for 3ds and Wii U

Though we've known about the 4th Smash Bros installment coming out soon, I couldn't find a specific thread talking about the new Smash Bros games coming. I thought it would be cool to have one to talk about our hopes and speculations as details continue to emerge about the 2014 release.

So what do you think? Who do you want to see? Who should return, who shouldn't? Who should join for the first time?

Personally, I'm psyched about Megaman as a new third party character.

I'd also like to see Tetra join the battle.

I could've sworn we had a thread for this...

But anyway, I'm really pumped for this game, I've always been a smash fan. I'll be getting for both the Wii U and the 3DS. The new characters shown so far seem really cool, especially the Wii Fit trainer. I really want to see Sonic return! Characters that I think won't return are Toon Link, Ike and Marth, Lucas, Lucario, R.O.B, and Wolf. I'd love to see Wreck-It Ralph make it in as a urprise guest

His fighting moves are even self explanatory..and his final smash could be turning the stage into the Fix-it Felix Jr. building (with the other fighters trapped inside the windows) and then he climbs on top and wrecks it

Cool thought on Ralph, I'd dig that.

I would also hope that they keep Sonic around, though Megaman is an awesome addition. I wonder about how Zelda might appear. I think it would make sense to feature her look based on her Skyward Sword appearance. Though I don't know what that might mean for Sheik. Perhaps there was a Sheik concept design for SS as there was for Twilght Princess.

Zelda is my second favorite character to use, so I hope we'll continue to see her. My first favorite is Peach.

Sheik was kept for Brawl so she'll be kept for this one. Especially with Ocarina recently remade again.

They shouldn't waste a roster slot on a terrible character from a bad movie.

I'd like to see a new Pokemon trainer who is each generations main character with each change of costume. So the main slot would be Red, then Gold, etc. The Pokemon would alternate as well, keeping the same pattern as in brawl where it's the 3 corresponding starters from each respective game, in a different stage of evolution. Maybe its more work than it's worth for the people working on it, but as a big Pokemon fan I'd looove that. I'd really like to have Dixie Kong, too.

It's great if you love movies that are completely unfunny or are easily impressed by known video game characters showing up for 10 seconds.

My choice for Smash Bros is Indiana Jones.

I've thought about similar things where the Pokemon trainer is concerned. What really bugs me is that not one of the current PT's color swaps includes the Shiny version of Charizard. I would have thought that to be an obvious choice.

He's completely devoid of any real characteristics. He's just this bland "I wanna do good" vessel that doesn't develop in the slightest.
