It never is. Early adopters are gluttons for punishment. Even though I have no interest in the PS4 right now, I know on launch day I'll be getting itchy. I pray to every god that I don't have the money for one sitting around, because I wouldn't be surprised to find myself hanging around outside a Best Buy at 2 in the morning on the night before.

it's 100 bucks cheaper than xbox one and the thing is almost 200 bucks cheaper than the ps3 when it came out

No, I don't. I just don't give a sh*t about the exclusives Sony is touting for launch day. Money is never an object for me where games are concerned. For better or worse.

If you're talking games....COD Ghosts will be huge, watch dogs is going to be another release day title thats going to be huge, assasins creed IV, Battlefield 4.......

We are planning on Pre-Ordering the PS4, not sure about the Xbox One with how flippy floppy they've been... I'm not won over on the features enough to justify the extra $100. We will no doubt buy both eventually, but as far as preorders go Sony has their act together way better than Microsoft. Not to mention I prefer the specs on the PS4. As a game reseller, we own 20 systems for testing (and fun) purposes so we don't NEED both right away since for us the resale market on next-gen system games won't pick up for about a year. We still don't have enough demand on the Wii U (but then again, neither does Nintendo, lol).

I should also say that I mostly play on PC. I drained hundreds of dollars into my computer because I both enjoy the adventure of upgrading, and to play games with nice graphics. You can judge me all you want, my internet feelings won't be hurt.

So needless to say, I'm going to wait until there's a decent exclusive to warrant the purchase.

USED games... Mostly at flea markets- much higher margins there for me than online. If there was sarcasm in the statement, I am we'll aware I'm one of mannnnny. Just throwing in my two cents, not trying to toot horns.

I'm decent... I actually got into it after getting ripped off and really pissed and said "Well I could do a better job than that!"

Sheesh! Someone hurt you bad... I'm using my judgment deflector shield left and right here... No worries though

The used game market is terrible lately. People jack up the price because they know people will pay it. I can understand the mentality, but we can't really afford it in these rough times. That's why Peanut is so upset. I feel for you, my friend.

Yep! I pre-ordered both a PS4 and Xbox One back in June when the pre-orders opened. I keep flip flopping as to which I'm more excited for. After seeing the Sony press conference at Gamescom this week though I think the current excitement leader for me is Sony!

Let's say I walk up to your place and ask you how much you want for a copy of something like Mega Man X. What would you sell that at?

Even though I'm probably walking into total judgement here:

I don't sell classics like that at my booth. I only go back as far as PS1 at my booth because of the wear and tear on the cartridges since they aren't a fast seller. When I get something like that I go on ebay or my contact list of people that are looking for something in particular.

Right now I would sell Mega Man X for $15.00 to $20.00 depending on condition. Which is on the lower end of the current eBay average.

I believe in asking a fair price for items. People return to me because items work, are as described and are at a fair price. I sell a lot of different items at my booth besides video games, they are just a constant. Before any further judgement please keep in mind this is how I make my living which is usually not anything to brag about... Lol.

I'm a collector too, I just also get to do what I love...
