Nick TMNT Season 1 Best Episode Tournament: Baxter's Gambit vs. I.T.H.N.I.B.S.

OFFICIAL BRACKET:
http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cf...Best%20Episode

First 3 matches we've had everything: A Tie poll 5-4 TB, A blowout, and an upset. So what's next? Well, from here we go to the Baxter Bowl: Baxter's last episode against Baxter's first episode. It's 12 vs. 21 with the winner going to face the #5 Seed Rise of the Turtles pilot.

Notice: These will be 24 hour polls.

My Take on the Matchup:

#12 Baxter's Gambit - Loved this episode, always enjoy stories where the good guys and bad guys have to work together to rid of a bigger threat...OF DOOM!

#21 I Think His Name is Baxter Stockman - I wasn't big on this episode and thought Baxter's debut was pretty flat. Although this episode did give us IMO the best quote of the show so far: Splinter: "The first rule of a ninja is do no harm. Unless, you intend to do harm, then do LOTS OF HARM!"

Vote for your personal favorite episode of the two.

While I like both, I really love Baxter's Gambit. It was nice to see more of Xever's story, and his team up with Raph was fun. And though I do like this Baxter in general, I thought he was especially amusing here - the DOOM gag never got stale.

ITHNIBS does seem to have better one liners, though, lol. "That wasn't very silent, Leo!" "You know I can't be trusted with nice things!" And of course the one mentioned by the OP. Also loved Raph's impersonation of Splinter.

Yeah I'll go with Baxter's first Ep.

The Gambit black and white chequered trap room reminds me of Teen Titans' one when they were sucked into tv world, so kinda seen it already experience for me.

D'oh, I voted wrong. Why put earlier episode below? :/ oh well.

I picked Baxter's Gambit. I know it's sorta cliche now for cartoons to show the good guys and bad guys teaming up but I liked that episode pretty good. There are even old Masters of the Universe episodes where He-Man had to save Skeletor so it's not like that's fresh territory. I just loved how Raph kept really wanting to fight Fishface but not being able to.

Baxter's Gambit was awesome because of the bad guys and good guys working together and seeing more of Xever's backstory. I did like Baxter's debut episode though, especially the "Randori" stuff from Splinter. Still Baxter's Gambit gets my vote...OF DOOM!

Baxter's Gambit for sure. Loved that we got to see Xever's backstory, and the Xever/Raph team-up.
