Here We Go! Only 4 episodes left in our Best Nickelodeon Season 1 Episode Tournament. It's down to in order of ranks: The Gauntlet, Showdown, It Came From the Depths, and Never Say Xever. Only 2 will go to the Final Showdown and the first will be filled with this match. It's 1 vs. 4 with The Gauntlet squaring off with the episode that preceeded it in Never Say Xever. Let's Get Started!

That picture says so much how I feel about this current poll.


The battle in "The Gauntlet" against Shredder was one of the best moments in this season and there were several good moments in that episode.

But "Never say Xever" was overall still a more enjoyable episode for me. I can't really explain it but it's just a feeling associated with that episode.

I'll go for "Never say Xever".

I gotta go with The Gauntlet.

The fact that Mikey got kicked by the Shredder and he valiantly strikes back by throwing off a couple of ninja stars before falling off the rooftop brings me goosebumps every single time I view that episode.

I would pick it for that...and the fact Mikey totally owns Shredder with his Kusarigama was pure awesomeness. (I was like...whoa Mikey that was creative!!)

but now that I think about it Never say Xever was just overall a better episode to me.

the end fight with Shredder is still the best fight scene ever....but Never say Xever had more and thus gets my vote! ^_^

It's the shredder's first episode of doing anything besides talking.

I mean, never say Xever was good, but the gauntlet just owns.

The Gauntlet. Without question. Never Say Xever is good and all, but nothing in comparison IMO.

Ugh can't pick! Well...the Shredder fight was awesome...but so is Xever! Eh, I guess I'll go with "The Gauntlet".

Until the season finale, the Gauntlet was my favorite episode of the series, and it looks like I'll have to say "Xever" to not vote for that one, though it has a nice backstory that provides nostalgia before Xever dumbed down as Fishface. But to have an episode to have the Turtles retreat against Shredder and feel like they can't complete still brings me chills, not to mention Xever and Bradford's mutations.
