A Question about "Turtles to the Second Power"

Hey folks, just found this site, and the various original TMNT eps available for download (I never saw past the first 4-6 years!). I was watching the three-parter in Season 10, ending with "Turtles to the Second Power".

My question is, what happened to Shredder and Krang at the end of this episode?? The last you see of them is when Shredder says "What's happening?". Dregg and his cronies are beamed to somewhere, but there is no sign of our old baddies. The episode guide on the official site says they are beamed back to Dimension X, but I see no sign of this, and I have replayed the scene three times.

Anyone got an explanation? Has something been cut out of the encoded avi version?

I remember that Shredder and Krang were indeed sent back to Dimsneion X along with Dregg. Infact, I recall Shredder's last line being "I won't go baaack!!!"

I've checked again, and just before Shredder says "What's happening?", him and Krang both fall back onto the transporter, and then as Jephael says, Shredder says "I won't go baaaaack!" as they are beamed away. Though you can't even make out Shredder and Krang on the pad when they are transported. Not a very good ending for two great characters if you ask me...

Yeah, but what really bugged me was that Rocksteady and Bebop weren't even there. It would've been cool seeing all four of them back!

I don't know if it's still on the official Ninja Turtles website, but there was an interview with Jeffrey Scott, the man who wrote all the episodes for the old cartoon's tenth and final season.

The reason Bebop and Rocksteady were not a part of this season when Shredder and Krang were brought back was because Mr. Scott was "told to avoid them." You can take that for what it's worth. If the interview is still on the website, check it out. It's pretty good.

About the ending for Shredder and Krang . . . yeah, it was kind of a lame way to see their characters bow out. Although, I must give credit where it's due; Mr. Scott knows his history. He inserted Krang's classic "Oh, no!" line in this three-part mini-series, something Krang must have said a zillion times when he was part of the regular cast. It was a nice nod of continuity on Mr. Scott's part, and it was especially satisfying for this fan. I loved it when Krang said that!

I always wondered about that too, you can't see Shredder or Krang when they're being transported back but I never remember hearing shredder saying "I won't go baaaack!"

Trust me, it's there. You can faintly hear him say that when all the bad guys get transported back to Dimension X.

I'll never forget those scenes were that manifistation of Krang came popping out of Dregg's head. It was so friggin gross! Could you imagine how it would've looked if he could also do that with the turtles' faces?
