1990 movie shredder's size

I've never noticed this until now, the movie Shredder was skinny. Don't get me wrong, the actor did a beautiful job of making Shredder scary and intimidating, but I wish he was a little bigger. He looks alright from the front, but when you look at him from the side, the helmet makes him look like a bobblehead toy. It looks too big for him.

Yeah

I'd prefer that than a flabby old guy in a makeshift megaton suit

Bruce Lee was also "skinny", Shredder was fit, not only strengthwise but also dexterity.

Your observation suggests the helmet was too big, not that the actor was too small.

Some of the best fighters are exactly his size. I really love how good he was defensively with his weapon and on the counter-attack vs Leo. Very elusive.

I so wish the fight was longer.

It's both, though he wasn't skinny skinny. You guys are right. After rewatching the video, I realised you have to be the right weight to pull off some of his moves. I admit, the actor was/is a great fighter.

Is he still alive??(the actor in the costume)

He was the regular height for a Japanese martial artist. I fail to see the complaint in this thread.

Most Asians are not tall. If you want a 6 foot tall basketball player you don't look for an Asian.

How about we try pictures of Fichtner from more recently? Say...the TMNT set.

This is your 2014(unless the movie gets pushed back again) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder.

Still looks fit even with the awkward angle he is twisted, i still see abs outlined, his arms don't look as fit but still plenty of definition. Not really and old pudgy person people keep say he looks plus really paparazzi shot almost never come out as the actor look in the movies if you have seen any tabloid this proves this

You tried to belittle me with your lack of grammar skills. And old pictures. Will is old just accept that. Does John T. Look like he did in grease? Use a set pic. And you won't see his body for the most part of the film because he'll be in the suit and his face is clearly old.
