iTunes Queries (TMNT specific)

Hi folks,

Recently I've grown tired of paying $80 a month for cable that I rarely even use. Almost everything I watch, I can see the next day online for free anyway, and what I don't there's Hulu Plus for, which is a markedly cheaper option.

However, one of the few things I've been holding out for, is TMNT. Nick.com is being super lackadaisical in updating their site, and although it's also on Hulu Plus, they don't update the show the day after, either, which is what I want (their newest episode as of this writing is Slash and Destroy, and I think Nick's is Mutagen Man Unleashed).

I had heard that iTunes updates pretty frequently, like next day (one person told me same-day). I'd like to know if anybody has any insight on if this is true, and how it is. I have no iDevices, but as I understand it, I could use my PC to watch. It looks like it's $1.99 an episode and $20.99 for a season (HD is more, but since this endeavor is to save money and I wasn't watching in HD anyway, I'd rather save every cent I can while still getting what I want). I don't math so hard so I don't know actually what is the better option - $2 spread across a season or $21 all at once.

I'd just like to get a feel for what I'd be getting if I went this option. If anyone has any other options that are free/cheap for seeing the show within one or two days of airing (AND LEGAL. That's important too), please let me know.

Thanks!

I believe Zulithe reported that last Sunday's episode showed up on Saturday night. From my experience the episodes normally show up the next or at midnight. Do you have a PS3? They are available to purchase there as well on the PSN store for the same prices as Itunes I believe. As long as you have Itunes on your computer you should be able to watch them there. Hope this helps.

ITunes is a great option. In my experience you'll be able to watch the episode the next day or same day (as was the case this last week) on your PC or other ITunes capable device. They break each season into 2 'volumes,' so do be aware of that.

As far as whether or not it's better to buy individual or all at once, it doesn't make a huge difference. If you pay all at once you'll save something like $3 for each volume when it's all said and done.

Amazon.com is awesome for this....you can subscribe to the season to get a lower rate and the day after it airs you get an email saying that its in your library....this is what i use... You dont need to subscribe to amazon instant video for this just have a free amazon account and pay per episode
