Favorite Turtle Designs

I may not be sold on how the Turtles look in the new movie, but I gotta go with Leo. I think he may have the best look out of the four. My only complaint is that bamboo armor of his.

So what are your favorites?

Leonardo looks decent, both in design (which is still over the top) and face (which seems the most classic in appearance). If they all had faces like him, and more "traditional" attire like him or Raph, it'd definitely take a lot of the sting out for me.

but Leo looks so BA in that shot - very no nonsense, I need to stop this woman, April, from making our existence known, and I will intimidate her if necessary-type vibe.

Leo hands down from what we have seen in the Maquettes, Toys, and this Trailer. My opinion could change after watching the movie but highly doubtful because he looks BADASS!

Agreed. If they were all dressed like Leo, I'd have less of a problem with the clothing.

As far as looks go I picked Leo as best. The lips and the nose aren't too over the top.

I'm not really a fan of all the clothing, full stop-but this.

Leo looks the best by a country mile, IMO.

I'd like to see a better pictures of Donnie in Final product, but. I agree, with the movie look it seems to be Leo that is the better designed, face-wise at least.

Their bodies are a entirely different beast. They are way too bulky and big, not big as in height-wise, although I prefer my turtles shorter, the movie turtles are extremely bulky and wide. Looking at Mikey in the Mask gag, he is around April's height, but his width is extreme.

But, back to the face. Leo looks the better, he still have that weird nose, but it is a lot more subdued, the nose is much more integrated with the rest if the face, making it look more like a snout then a primate/human nose like Raph and Mikey. Mikey looks really bad.

Not a fan of their carapace, it's way too big and impractical ( unless you're gonna wreck a army car) and the plastron is silly looking but I personally don't like the plastron being designed to emulate muscles.

Overall, had they dropped the Philtrum and made the noses more similar to Leo's or Donnie's, Mikey and Raph's faces wouldn't be THAT bad. Their lips still needs more work

Leo looks OK. The rest are disgusting, especially Mike. Why do they have noses, lips and other human facial features? It doesn't look right. They look like Shrek. Granted, we only saw Leo and Mike clearly...but I can't imagine Don and Raph look better based on what we've already seen.

I actually like Mike's face more than Leo's. We still don;t have a good look at Donnie's face in CG. I get the feeling his will be the most "classic"

The Turtles look in this movie is actually growing on me. Leo looks great, and the lips arn't that bad. Their faces would not look as expressive without them.
