How Did You Become A TMNT Fan?

Hey, I was just wondering if there are any TMNT fans on these boards that are completely new to the franchise and got hooked by the new cartoon (or the new comics etc).

I'd also like to see how many got hooked by mirage vol. 1 (i know of one already . . . he has "Mirage Fan" under his name

)

I'm going out on a limb that the majority got hooked from the original cartoon though

Original cartoon, but my enthusiasm for it has dimmed slightly over the years.

My big brother watched the first episode of the cartoon.. I guess he had been a fan of the comics, or somethin'. Anyway, I happened to watch it from then on. My first memory is the opening animation and theme song. The rest is history.

i was pretty young but I know it was the orignal cartoon that got me
hooked on the show.

for me it was the original cartoon...

but something else should be on that list......The first movie....in school most of my friends begin liking them after seeing the movie..which..of course..was a major hit.

It was the orignal series that got me hooked I started watchin it when I was young I remember watching it on USA when I got up in the morning for school lol

I don't really know, but I do know that I did start to watch the original cartoon somehow.

Actually, interestingly enough, I think it may have been the toys where I saw the Turtles first.

I'm not totally sure...one of those two at least.

The original cartoon all the way! Then the movies, archie comics, and video games.

Years after TMNT became my favorite franchise I finally discovered the original comics. Which make me like them even more!

I got into the Archie comics, lost interest around the third movie. Came back around two years ago thanks to the Mirage Collected Books.

It was the cartoon and the movie the same time for me.I made my dad buy the tape for some reason,and watched the cartoon so much.

My brother was watching the old cartoon, so I started watching it (he hates it now. I embarrass him

Two weeks later I was still watching it and buying the Archie comic series, and 6 months later I was getting the Mirage comics. Then the movie came out.

So yeah, it all started with the cartoon for me.

Watching the old cartoon, beautiful moments of my life... I can't forget them... The Turtles are a part of my life!

When i was a child i remember when i was watching the show in front of my TV and i remember when i asked to my parents to have the Michelangelo's toy, they become crazy to find it...
