So what are some things you like the smell, taste, sight, feeling, and/or sound of?

Scents

• melted crayons
• cinnamon
• sweets
• hot sauce
• nail polish remover...

Tastes

• Most sour foods
• spicy
• fruity
• ... lotion
• When somebody sprays Lysol and I can kind of taste some of it. (it may sound weird but yeah..)
• I used to get long pieces of floss and chew on them. (wouldn't swallow of course)

Sounds

• Laughter
• good music (So does probably almost everyone else.)
• The sound a soda makes when you first open it

Sight

• When somebody looks creeped out or confused
• Red. The color is just so appealing to me.
• smoke from an inscent
• Almost anything macabre or creepy
• cute animals
• spikes

I'll try to do one every day or so. I think I'll tackle sound first. Let's see, I also like the sound of a soda can opening. I love Star Wars, so I think the sounds of igniting and clashing lightsabers are bada$$. Burgers sizzling on a grill or skillet are interesting. Laughter is cool too, especially when it's someone who has one of those contagious laughs. Those wacky sound effects from cartoons really crack me up. They're fun to listen to. Our Tonkanese cat is a riot when he starts chatting. He sounds more like a baby than anything else, so his everlasting mouth is fun to listen to unless Turtles or other shows are on. Almost forgot, I love anything symphonic. I've been a band geek for years and years now, so that always appeals to me. My fiance feels the same way. We'll be watching something with brass, woodwinds, strings etc in the background and she'll all of a sudden say something like,"God, I want to be back in band."

birds chirping after it rains
thunder (I love it!)


Sights:
lightning storms
flowers blooming in spring
a candle flame in a dim room
fresh snow on the ground
a full moon, especially during the day- it's really cool then



Tastes:
pizza! (duh)
chocolate- yeah, I'm addicted to it....
cheesecake
biting the end of my pen- don't know why, but I like it
sour gummy worms

I forgot about the smell of books/bookstores! Nothing quite like it in the world. Hastings doesn't do it for me. Remember the way Walden's used to smell? Brentano's used to smell the same. Also forgot about brewing coffee. That's awesome as well. Tastes great if I put around 4 teaspoons of sugar in there. As for sound, completely forgot about my cats purring. I like that too. I also like the smell of ToysRUs when you first walk in there. Must be all that cardboard or something. Smells like a bunch of new toys to me. haha

Well, when you mentioned your cat's chatting, it reminded me of how much I love hearing my cats purr when they curl up by my head. Another feline sound I love is when they see a bird they can't get to and start to "chatter". That funny little noise that sounds like they have a stutter in their meow, it's soft and usually comes with a lot of tail swishing and whisker-twitching. So funny!

Ah, yes, Borders smelled that way, too. We don't have ay bookstores near me, so I sometimes like to go down the book aisle at Wal-Mart just to smell it a little. And when I get a new comic book TPB in the mail, I love to inhale that wonderful scent of the paper and ink. My hubby claims they put crack in it to get people addicted to the comics, LOL!!

Yeah, I also like the smell of frying bacon. Bacon bacon. Frying Bacon would make me sad because I really liked Footloose. I also like the smell of a doughnut shop in early morning. Also enjoy the smell of Great American Cookies when I walk past them in our local Mall.

Thinkin of sounds now. Ah, I love the sound of shuffling cards. I rarely play cards because I can't find my braille ones, but still enjoy the sound nonetheless. Oh, the braille cards have print on the faces as well in case anyone's wondering.

Burning flesh or hair never does, LOL!!

Cards shuffling- that's one I hadn't thought of. I also love the sound FX in some of my favorite video games, especially the "old-school" games from when I was a kid like Mario Bros. or the ORIGINAL Final Fantasy. Those sounds always make me smile!

videogame sound effects! Now there's one I hadn't thought of. Yeah gotta love the Mario sounds. My bh wants to track down the original FF games as she's a big fan of the series. I like it too.

As for touch, I enjoy the way a brand new unopened DVD boxset feels. Smells nice too with that new DVD smell. Not as nice as new car smell, but pretty close.

Is it weird that I like the smell of chlorine water?

I noticed that I like to chew gel type stuff. XD I tore the gel off the handle of a hairbrush, just so I could chew on the gel. (No. I don't eat it. I chew on it.)

I took a screw one time and just barely scratched my arm with it -made a wavy design- but itfelt interesting.

I like a lot of those, too. (Minus the girl in pleasure part. But I DO sort of like the smell of- um, certain sweaty activities.....)

Yeah LL, I like the smell of chlorine water too. It always brings back such awesome summer memories from when I was a kid. McD's always makes me think of those same summers because sometimes, my family would go to my grandma's apartment where there was a public pool. We'd swim for a while, then all pig out on McD's burgers and fries at the tables by the pool. Seriously good times. I still crave McD's more during summer.
