TMNT Tattoo idea ?

Hi everyone, i will ask for ideas. First, i'm french, i'll do my best with english!

I will get a new tattoo session on August 13th. I reserve for half of an arm ( lower or upper arm, still not sure for this eheh).

As you can see, it will be TMNT related.

My first idea, is all black/gray tattoo, with comic book cells from the 1985 comic series 1. ( and some extra characters maybe..)

I will complete the arm the next session (probably on october). So i will have space to put something like 10-12 characters. I think to include these ones ;
- Leo
- Don
- Raph
- Mike
- Splinter
- April ( will try to find a cute one of her ! )
- Casey Jones
- Mouser
- Shredder
- Foot Soldier
- Utrom

I tought of these pictures ;



... but if i can find better ones, i'm open to all suggestions !

... also forgot to mention, there can be like 2 characters not in a "square" ... to fill space, and to break the pattern a little ...

But just don't know wich one ( a turtle for sure, and a villain would be cool ).

Hmm. I would have decided on the art before scheduling the session. Especially if you want to put that many characters in, I think it'd be better to get some custom art done.

I'm hoping to get a piece of custom art for a tattoo at Comic-Con. It's just going to be small and will go on the back of my shoulder, but it's important to me that it's a unique piece of art.

You get a point. I already have the art choose for the session ( scheduled 3 months ago ). The picture i post earlier today, is what i'm supposed to get ( Casey Jones start from wrist ). But ... just to be sure, and don't regret of getting any better... i ask you all TMNT fans ( it's never too late to change my mind on the final draw for the tattoo.).

As long as you're happy with what you get, that's all that matters! Sounds like it'll end up being really impressive!

I've actually already set up the commission, so it should just be a matter of picking it up. Fingers crossed that it works for what I want. And I'll definitely be sharing once it's all done!

Hey dude, would love to see a photo of it once it's done! Collaborate a bit with your tattoo artist about the "feel" you want for the piece and the ideas that you have.

Digging the different panels idea! I can see this spiralling and getting bigger and bigger, continuing up your arm and onto your chest and back, and it will be amazing!

Just a little update. Work is in progress ( maybe 20% done ). For now, i have 8 tmnt's comic patches, will put more in-between, all in black/gray. Will add Tmnt and Foot clan logo too. Donatello is in, Leo and Mickey, stille missing Raph ( need to find the best one..!). Casey is in, Shredder, Mouser, and the fight between Leo and Shredder ( comic #1 main scene ) to the forearm. I plan to add Raph, April, foot soldier, Utrom ... and some more if i get enough space !

Sorry for bad pictures, i was alone, and it's not easy eheh ! Will post more once more advanced. ( 3 of the 8 cases are almost finished, 5 others having just main lines..).

That's pretty dope. I've thought about getting comic inspired ink but the last thing I need is another addiction. Looking forward to seeing future updates.
