So Hun will indeed be in the show after all. I was really only half expecting it since for better or worse, the show did not seem to draw much inspiration from the 4Kids series. But you know, the Purple Dragons were in the show and let's face it, without Hun they're just that random street gang from issue 1. And when the EPF showed up, that made me expect at least some more 4kids inspiration.

So let's analyse the character as we see him in the story boards. Let's see now, Bruce Lee as a basis and may have black hair instead of blonde, not really invoking the old Hun. But you know, old Bebop was not a cyborg, old Rahzar was not bony and old Wingnut has nothing in common with Kirby as Wingnut, it's not as far off as some of the other redesigns.
And when it comes to references to the old design, he still has the Dragon tattoo (I'll post a pic if you didn't catch that) and while I'm not sure, I think the old Hun might have worn similar jewelry.

Plus, he still has the role of gang leader and Casey's rival. On that front I might be a bit worried that it'll turn out less like Joe Chill/Bruce Wayne, and more like Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy or Yugi Moto/Seto Kaiba given the reduced ages...

First of all Bebop is not a cyborg, I have no idea where you got that from. He was simply wearing a special suit. Second of all April's Dad was mutated into "Kirby-bat" as the toy implies, he's not Wingnut.

Third of all we don't know if this Hun will have blonde hair or not. Hopefully he does.

I could care less what color hair he has. All I care about is that he turns the PDs into a formidable gang and about his rivalry with Casey and what that's all about.

The post-mutation design as well as the story board implies the suit merged with his body. And while you are correct about Kirby-Bat, he was still briefly called Wingnut in the show.

He was called Wingnut as a throwaway gag or joke to older fans. His official name is "Kirby-bat" because it gives the writers some leeway if they actually want to introduce Wingnut/Screwloose later on.

As for Bebop's mutation we probably won't know for sure till the ep airs. Its not like we're ever going to see naked Bebop or Rocksteady either, god knows the Archie comics showed us them without their clothes on.

Oh, get over it already! Remember that though Rahzar was named by Mikey, he doesn't resemble the actual Rahzar from the movie. Same goes for Tim and Mutagen Man, yet you accept those changes with no problem. Why is it that you are so fixated on this when you don't care about other characters being changed as they are?

I kinda wish he had less of a nija fight style and more of a brawler fight style but it's no big deal .

Totally diggin this character. Honestly don't care if he's named Hun or not, but he is kick-ass and I REALLY hope he can give the Turtles a run for their money (face it, Casey is kinda their weaker link). Also hopes he gets at least 2 good episodes before they nerf him.

Hope he isn't nerfed at all. Although it would be kind of wierd to have Hun kicking ass and then Rahzar and Fishface jobbing to the turtles.

I kinda missed the whole "ninja" fighting style thing there.

I'm looking forward to this character. Would be nice to see a Chinese fighting style along with a Japanese one.

03 Series was the bomb all characters were good. They should bring all characters from that series to Nick series.
