How would christmas be celebrated at the farm house?

So how do you guys think Christmas would have been celebrated at the the farm house?

I would wager if Christmas did occur during the time Leo was in a coma, the holiday would be acknowledged. But the celebration would be somber and subdued.

They could could go as far as getting a tree and decorating it. But alot of the other things involved in the holiday such as the music, the commericialized wimsy, the happiness. It can almost feel insulting in the face of the tragidies the six of them have suffered with the loss of Splinter, Kirby, and Casey's family, as well as their defeat at the hands of the Foot and Kraang, and so on.

At most I see them just enjoying togetherness as a make shift family by enjoying a pizza or two and watching a holiday movie.

And maybe Casey pulling out some Missletoe hoping he can get a kiss from April.

Small tree, April finds long forgotten family ornaments in the attic, hot chocolate around the fireplace and someone takes a mug to Raph who's keeping watch over his brother. Might be wishing Santa was real and could fix everything, Mikey is probably the only one to actually say it. (Saw this all dimly lit by fireplace/candle light.)

Couldn't have described it better.

A very somber affair with not a lot of celebrating and more wishing that things would get better.

Since it more then likely will be snowing Donnie will have to stay out of the barn unless the want two sick turtles on their hands.

Maybe Donnie, Mike and maybe Raph during times he's taking a break or during times where Donnie and Mikey join Raph in watching over Leo, reminis about previous holiday seasons.

Yeah, that's something I've considered as well and would have allowed them to do one for this year even while their calender is mismatched with ours. Just make much of the episode a flashback to another year, or even one when they were just little kids.
