[Comment] Current Events Group

I created a private Group for real current events discussion. I'm tired of only seeing RIP threads. I want to be able to talk about religious, social, and political current events, which are very interesting right now.

This is invite only. Do not ask to join if you are easily offended, can't handle debate, or people who disagree with your world view. I want to have good discussions.

lets talk about what's going on in the world.

If you ask to join I'm going to look at your posting history. If you don't seem like you can handle grown up discussions or are easily offended I'm not going to let you in. It will be for your own good and the good of the group.

I work all day and sleep on a regular schedule so if I don't answer an invite request immediately just calm down and be patient. I'll get you in soon enough.

I'm all for it as long as people don't push their beliefs down my throat or make judgments. But I will be frank, I don't sugarcoat anything and tell it like it is. So if you don't want to invite me, that's fine. I do want to talk about that Religious Freedom law though because I have a lot to say about my governor and how much I hate him. But as I said, if you don't want to let me in, I understand.

BUT I am open for all kinda things (I don´t judge people for what they believe or like) and can discuss it without getting mean.

No offense at all intended, Shell but most of the posts I've see from you on politics tell me that this definitely is not the group for you. Everyone is very respectful in the conversations we have going on and most of what I see from your posts are "I hate politics". That won't be constructive in a debate.

Fine, whatever. But just because I hate politics doesn't mean I have to join in that particular discussion. I just wanted to share my opinions on that Religious Freedom Act since I live in Indiana and have a better grasp of what Gov. Pence is like having dealt with him and his idiocy. And I just wanted to vent my opinions on that particular issue. I know you have political discussion with other things, but I don't have to join in on that other stuff.

That's all though. If you still don't want to let me in, that's fine.

Well, I was skeptical, but there are some interesting topics you've mentioned. If I'm deemed worthy, I'll talk when it's interesting and if it's something I don't want to discuss, I'll shut up. Anyway, it'll at least be interesting to see how this little social experiment goes...
