Major _________ Scene Confirmed *spoilers*

"CHASE" <---- the missing word

A local news station in BUFFALO, NY (WIVB, Channel 4) reported the following:

SOURCE-WIVB.COM

Major Headline according to the video on the site:

- They are closing a major freeway in Buffalo, NY from the 04th-17th
- There will be multiple cameras involved, including a helicopter
- *possible explosions*

I hope spectators (or those who live nearby) film the new TURTLE VAN in action. *fingers crossed*

Crews are setting up to start shooting the sequel of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

There are cables, lights, and equipments lined up along part of Route 33.

When you talk to people around the expressway, many have expressed that they’re just excited about what’s to come.

“I’m excited for Buffalo. It’s something different,” Renee McCrayl of Buffalo said. “I think it’s wonderful,” David McPeak added. “I like what’s going on. It’s good for the city.”

McPeak lives along the expressway. He said he’s glad to have a front seat to the action. “I’ll be looking out the window. Seeing what’s going on. I’m curious about what they’re going to do,” he said.

On Friday, May 1, crews will test the lighting. It will shutdown the eastbound lane of the Kensington Expressway from downtown to the 198 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday.

The Paramount and Nickelodeon Films production will be in town until Saturday, May 17.

“This is a very high profile project for us,” Tim Clark, the Buffalo Niagara Film Commissioner said. Filming will have several action scenes, including a car chase that could lead to explosions. Crews will also use a helicopter.

Behind the scenes, local professionals with expertise in lighting, electrical work, and photography will be working on this project.

For example, Skyworks Equipment Rentals in Buffalo provided a lot of equipment. Josh Marteau said this project helped provide extra money and work for crews.

“It helps everybody out in the long run. It starts right with the outside salesman and goes right up to the top,” Marteau said.

“They will hire about 150 people from the western region here. And then probably another 150 vendors will be hired to provide services for them. so all in all it’s a pretty significant economic impact,” Clark said.

Here’s a list of all the road closures:

• Friday May 1 — Route 33 eastbound will be closed from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. to motorists between Elm Street through Route 198. There will be a posted detour from Genesee Street to Route 240 (Harlem Road).

• Monday May 4 through Saturday May 9 — Route 33 will be closed in both directions from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. from the Elm/Oak arterial and Route 198. Eastbound traffic will be directed to use Genesee Street to Route 240 (Harlem Road) and westbound traffic will be directed to use Route 384 (Delaware Avenue) or Route 240 (Harlem Road to Genesee Street).

• Sunday May 10 — NO SCHEDULED ROAD CLOSURES.

• Monday May 11 through Saturday May 16 — Route 33 will be closed in both directions from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. from the Elm/Oak arterial and Route 198. Eastbound traffic will be directed to use Genesee Street to Route 240 (Harlem Road) and westbound traffic will be directed to use Route 384 (Delaware Avenue) or Route 240 (Harlem Road to Genesee Street).

We all knew about this weeks ago, it's nothing new and certainly it isn't spoilers.

it was speculation because of the vehicles MB revealed via social media - i tagged it as a spoiler simply because there are people that do not wish to know anything too revealing, and I'd hate to be the guy that spoils anything for them.

JESTER - please feel free to delete this thread, if this is old news, my apologies, I do not want to clutter boards, i know it sucks to sift through crap just to get something worthwhile.
