Happy July 4th

*Streamers balloons fireworks and such*

I would just like to take this opportunity to wish all my American friends a wonderful Independance Day!

Weee-hah!

And it looks like the terrorists didn't decide to make our RCA Hoosier Dome part of the fire work display after all!

We don't need terrorists, we have our fireworks operator.

Great start. We had poppers, then some sparklers, then the bigger stuff. Nothing that rocketed into the air, mind you. Anyway, our neighbor thought this one was finished, but it wasn't, so when he went to pick it up to put in the bucket of water, it started up again. He accidentally knocked it over trying to get away, right towards the audience! A couple little kids were really scared, but no one was hurt, thankfully.

I need sleep, hopefully I'll be able to breathe painlessly tomorrow. (Don't ask.)

I had a nice quiet day. My boyfriend had the day off so we actually got to spend time together. (A very rare event any more.) Of course, the irony of that is that I've decided that its about time for us to go our separate ways. We had a good time though, and we're going to see MIB2 tomorrow.

Didn't do any fireworks, but we went to a vegetarian BBQ. (That means no meat...not that we were cooking vegetarians. ) Ooooh...actually there were some fireworks in my mouth when I tried a couple of drops of Dave's Insanity Sauce. They really are serious when the put the warning on that bottle regarding people with heart and/or respiratory problems.

Shyaa.. same here. Just sta perched in front of the home PC, then went out and got the comics and some grocieries, came back. Hubbby had to work, but they ended the day at 5pm and then the store owner invited all the employees and family out to eat a a fancy Chinese buffet that also had crab legs and sashimi type things. Woof, I was stuffed! But then his korean buddies wanted to hang out, so I went home alone while he played card games til FIVE in the morning! So yeah... I had a rather uneventful night watching Street Fighter and getting caught up on my message boards. Then it's back to work today.

You're getting tired of the tennis too? I mean.. c'mon, what's so cool about TENNIS. Now if it were soccer, or horses, or a marathon in the Mongolian desert, that'll be way more interesting!

Yeah, I didn't mind the World Cup so much. At least it perked my interest on a few occasions.
But I agree I mean who could possibly find tennis interesting? It's right up there with golf as most boring sport to watch ever!

... especially when they take off Buffy and The Simpsons... *scowls*

I watched a little parade for my Fourth of July...then I went around the the town I was in, since they were having a small festival at one of the shopping centers. I didn't buy much, though.
