Could Casey's father be Bishop?

I have mentioned this possibility before. As nick has added twists to things that we as the audience see coming.

Such as Karai being Miwa

April being a "mutant" or possibly a neutrino because of the Kraang DNA in her blood and experiments done by the Kraang on the maternal side of her family.

So then there is Casey's father and sister. There is a high likelyhood that Casey's sister is Angel as she is often a friend of Casey's and gas been described as a sister figure to Casey. So it would make sense that Casey's little sister could be April.

However that still leaves Casey's father. It is largely possible that Casey's father could be nobody (I.E. that he's like April's Non-existent Aunt.) But what if...what if it turned out Casey's father was John Bishop.

I mean the IDW did have that added twist of having it turn out that Casey's Father was actually Hun.

During the invasion we are introduced to the EPF. And while John Bishop has yet to be introduced to the show, he is heavily associated with the EPF itself.

Government officials of Bishop's level (in political thrillers at the very least) will take on pseudonyms or cover identities while in public. So it is possible that Bishop could take on the name Arnold Jones as his cover identity.
However it is also possible that Bishop could be his code name and Arnold Jones is his real identity.

During the Invasion, Casey said he couldn't find his family so he naturally *assumed* that his father and sister may have been Kraangatized. However it's only the faces and arms that are Kraangified and the rest of the body is as is. If if they were still in the city, there would have at the very least been something that Casey could have recognized.

I know it's likely Casey could have been on the look out for Kaang Prime and of course the overall chaos of the invasion to pay attention to details such as what his sister could have been wearing that day.

But still the Nick show has dropped hints that assuming the obvious isn't always correct.

I highly doubt that.

I'd rather Casey's father be the real Hun with blonde hair. And then he will go up to the Asian Hun and say, "I'm the American Hun" and it'll be more in line with the 4kids/IDW incarnation.

Bebop and Rocksteady has less to do with the original characters than Hun does, but I don't see you complain about that.

You should write racist fan fiction.

Dude, give it a rest, will you? And I highly doubt Bishop will be Casey's dad. I always thought his dad worked as an exterminator based on the Jonesy Kitty signs we've seen in the show, so I don't think he's Bishop.

Cubed hates fan fiction, so I doubt he'd write any. He says it's all bad.

I'm still on the fence of this theory for one major reason:

1. No confirmation of Bishop- I get that everyone is hyping up Bishop, outside Hun, he was the most popular antagonist of the 2003 series. The problem is this though, there's been no information outside our own ideas. We can draw as many conclusions as possible, but unless there's information on him with an action figure or Comic Con, his odds are still not good. It seems like a horrible comparison, but look at why Lord Dregg and Hun came in first.

At the very least, I see why Hun and Dregg were brought in first. The latter due to many a Fred Wolf reference while Hun is a very popular character among the villains in the Turtles lore. Though Bishop has been wanted for a long while now, it's becoming unlikely we're seeing him. A major disappointment because alongside Baxter, he's easily my favorite villain. I'm all for new interpretations of characters, but the last thing anyone would want is hype up something that later crashes and falls flat.

The theory right now seems a little farfetched to me right now overall. Maybe overtime we'll get something, but for now I'm holding my breath and crossing mt fingers, hoping for some information.

In my opinion it would be an interesting plot twist. Just like in the IDW comic where Hun is Casey's father

Honestly, I doubt it. It wouldn't really make sense, all things considered. I get that Bishop is a secret agent and all, but if he was living with Casey, Casey would know about the EPF. And he saw the EPF in the Kraang invasion, so he would've thought, "Dad?"

I kinda agree that they should have made him blonde but your post on this are getting excessive.

Yeah, I don't buy that Bishop is Casey's dad. It just wouldn't make sense for that to happen and then Casey not know about the EPF. I want Bishop to be a separate character not connected to anyone else.

I did point out that the EPF could be one of those branches of the government where it's strictly hush hush to the point where they can't even tell their own family about what they really do.

Such as a person working at Area 51 is not going to tell their family they work in Area 51 because that is the sort of place where they say "You were never here." when you leave. So it would make sense that the EPF showing up and Casey not recognizing it as anything to do with family. So at best he would just believe his father could have been involved with the army at some point in his life, but never really have any idea of what branch his father served in.

And someone pointed out that Casey's family could be an exterminator. However that could easily be Bishops cover identity.

In the 2k3 version, Bishop was a soldier from the war of 1812 I believe when he was abducted and experimented on by Aliens. And when he was released he developed a hatred for all Alien's seeing them as a threat to the Earth and Human Kind. So he develops the EPF to fight and eliminate any alien threats that exist. Bishop could have used the guise of an exterminator to infiltrate places like TCRI.

As there hadn't been any wide scale invasions before the Arrival of the Technodrome, there is a likelyhood that people involved with the EPF became lax. Or the government/military didn't see the need to fund a covert branch for an event that was not likely to happen. So when the invasion hit it was over before they could scramble the troops over to stop it. Which is why the EPF was used in the second invasion because the Military didn't want to figuratively be caught with it's pants down.

Also Bishop has been able to prolong himself by uploading his consciousness into a clone body once his physical body begins to fail. An name like John Bishop is more traceable then say a name like Jones if he was trying to blend in a place that was an alien activity hot spot.

We will have to wait and see what is introduced at Comic Con, we know the Fugitoid, Lord Dreg, and the Triceraton's are confirmed, but there is still the possiblilty for Nick to surprise us.

Still don't buy it and I hope it's not true as that would just be terrible. It's one thing for IDW to have Hun as Casey's dad, but I really don't want Bishop to be connected to Casey or even April (although that would be an even freakier twist in itself). I would rather he be a separate character.
