If you could bring an unused character from the toyline to a show...

Tons of toys made throughout the franchise have never been put in the shows. Ignoring some of the most popular character mutants we've gotten throughout the franchise like Bebop and Rocksteady, I always liked the idea of bringing near unknown characters to wider audiences. I do love the classic villains we have though.

So, if you had to pick a near underused character from the franchise, who would you want in a TMNT show? Just explain what you would do like their allegiance to either good or evil and just have fun with it. I'll be curious what you all come up with.

I would've wanted Scratch, but IDW's Old Hob has filled that need.

I'd also love a Panda Kahn, but all of the similarities with Kung Fu Panda probably kill any chance of that happening.

• Doctor El
• Sergeant Bananas
• Scumbug or Antrax

Finally, I want Scaletail. I want him in IDW as a Foot hench mutant, or a Mutanimal... anybody. Badass snake mutant, please.

Dude, Scale Tail would be bad@@s to see! I actually meant to add it, but I so want him used! (if not mistaken for Serpent Karai)

As for Panda Khan, I wonder if he should have been used for Vision Quest or any future training for Leonardo. Tons of potential in the ideas, but yes all the way!

Does it have to be mutants? If not, I'd love to see Jagwar as a shamanic shape-shifter perhaps, and he could be one of the Mutanimals. Maybe Leo could go to South America like in the CGI movie, and meet him, and Jagwar comes back with him and joins the Mutanimals.

Kind of want to see Bugman again, too- he'd be fun in the Nick series, since we've already had Mutagen Man and Muckman as human mutants turned heroes. If Mutagen Man ever gets his mind back, they could team up as Nick's version of the Toxic Crusaders....

For that matter, they should add Malachai and Spiderbitez to the Mutanimals crew, though maybe Spiderbitez would fit better with the Foot.

Panda Khan is not a TMNT character. He was a crossover character like Usagi

He came from Panda Khan. It's a comic about the character much like Usagi Yojimbo. Dave Garcia (who did a bunch of work on Archie's TMNT) did it.

Scumbug was in both the original cartoon and Archie. Ace Duck was in Archie as a wrestler from Dimension X. Antrax was in the original cartoon.

Funny thing is the original cartoon had a snake mutant named Cobrato but didn't use Scaletail.

Scumbag & Antrax were in the same episode, as a matter of fact. Night Of The Rogues, a fan favorite. Their appearances were brief & long overdue, but enjoyable all the same. Word, Snakes Alive! pissed me off. I didn't see it until I was an adult & I was fully expecting the villain reveal to be Scaletail, when it wasn't I lost my sh*t. Cobrato's design was maaaaaaaaaaaad lame, yo. Sgt. Bananas at least got a comic appearance, of sorts, he appeared in one of the shorts from TMNT Magazine (under his original name, Guerilla Gorilla).

I've said this time & time again but I feel the ideal thing to do w/ all these mutants that went to waste would've been to make the European vacation season a "World Tour" season instead. Panda Khan in China, Sandstorm in Egypt, Monty Moose in Canada, Hothead in Japan, King Lionheart in England, Sgt. Bananas in the Congo, etc. & the episode where Baxter turns everyone into insects should've been the introduction of Scumbug, Antrax, & Wyrm.

I would've even taken that canadian moose character and the giraffe who played basketball over some of the lamer Shredder or mad scientist episodes.
