Just Krang questions

Does anyone know how he moves around in the bubble walker? He has no legs and his tentacles are used to grab stuff and they aren't operating any controls, so just how is he moving that bubble walker? With his mind?

Why does Krang's android body have to be charged with a massive amount of electricity in order to be activated? Isn't there an on switch? And why was it necessary for Shredder to put Krang inside the robot, while he charged it? How did Krang not get fried while the whole thing was being zapped with an enormous amount of electricity?

Why is it that Krang's robot body makes facial expressions? Usually it mimics Krang's facial expressions. If he's happy the robot will sometimes look happy, if he's shocked the robot will sometimes express that or if he's angry it will look angry. Is this perhaps why Krang was put inside the robot before it was activated? Is Krang mentally linked to it in someway. Maybe so as that may not just be a robot body he controls but it's literally his new body.

The only thing I can come up with, is that there is something that is reading krang's brain waves.

I'm more concerned about inconsistencies. A later episode claims Krang's body is practically invincible, despite the fact that it had been defeated countless times at that point.

I like the thought of mind controlling the bubble walker or that it's linked to Krangs brainwaves.

I think so, too. Otherwise there's really no way for him to move it since his tentacles are out in the open and not touching any controls. I think the android body is somewhat mentally linked to him due to it sometimes mimicking Krang's facial expressions. Even when Krang looks from side to side, the robot head will sometimes turn it's head.

I also wondered how Krang fought, as it must have been somewhat awkward for him to fight when he's in the stomach of the android. You'd think he'd have an awkward way of viewing things through the stomach. If Krang was in the head of the android, it'd be less awkward for him to fight. Unless maybe the android's eyes are linked to Krang and whatever the android sees, Krang also sees.

Well, Krang's android body seemed to have a mind of his own. In the episode Casey Jones: Outlaw Hero, it was able to take orders and move around on its own. I don't know about its facial expressions. I'd guess the writers might have just wanted to give it a personality so it wouldn't look lifeless all the time. I have no idea how Krang was able to move his bubble worker.

It's probably the best not to overthink these things, though. Most shows have stuff about them that you have to suspend disbelief about anyway.

I like the bubble walker more than his android body. I think I felt differently as a child, but as an adult I wish he just would've just been featured in the bubble walker all the way throughout the series.

I think the reason the bubble walker wasn't used more in the show is because of how it presented Krang as a villain. The bubble walker makes Krang look small next to Shredder and we find it more difficult to take him seriously while at least with the android body in scenes he's eye level with Shredder when they're at a console for instance.

But see that's one of the things that I liked about the bubble walker. I preferred the thought that Shredder was the one in charge. And Krang was literally just "the brains behind the operation".

The bubble walker was cool, but I never really thought Shredder was in charge. He didn't own the Technodrome he mostly did what Krang said. And since he has his android body, there's really no reason for him to use the bubble walker when he has the more powerful android body at his disposal, unless he's fixing his android. He is more than just eye level with Shredder and is of course the tallest villain in the technodrome, being a head taller than Shredder at least, even being taller than Bebop and Rocksteady.

What I mean by this is that from an animation point of view the animators will want to have the villains standing next to each other which you don't get if Krang isn't the same height or around the same height as Shredder.
