Along with the Turtles, I'm happy to see Evil Dead 2, and the epic Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey made the list.

Would you rather Gremlins 1?

Personally, I'm damn glad Robocop 2 made the list and NOT the third one.

First of all, where is T2? And TMNT 2 is certainly not one of the best sequels. It's same if they had changed T2 to comedy and Arnold wouldn't have any guns. Also I never considered Robocop 2 to be so good sequel.

Well that's just one person's view, and the list does have few of the all time best sequels, like Dawn of the Dead, Aliens and Empire strikes back.

Yeah.. that doesn't make much sesne either. I would have picked T2 over Robocop 2 anyday.

But the TFormers movie also made a foot in (even though it didn't get a thumbnail and featrue intro), so I won't complain too much.

Batman Returns sucked hard as did Robocop 2. T2 deserved it more. And where's X2?!?!

X2 is too new. Matt was looking at the seasoned classics.

Dude, Robocop 2 blew the first one out of the water. And, pardon my monotony, but would you rather have ha Robocop 3 placed on there?

Also, he's not saying they're necessarily better than the original (you'd know this if you READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE!), just one SEQUEL as it's compared to any other SEQUELS in the sequel if any exist.

But come on it gave us Tokka, Rahzar, Super Shredder and it had Vanilla Ice singing the Ninja Rap! How can you go wrong!? I was good for humor at least!

TMNT II to alot of people is a great sequal. All the people I know who have watched the movies call number 2 their favorite actually. I don't think it's the best, but it's obvious alot of people did. I don't see why the movie is ragged on so bad anyways.

I liked Batman Returns... and Robocop 2...

And as I've said a million times, I can buy TMNT 2 being on the list ONLY because of The Great and Powerful Nash. If he wasn't involved, it woulda been pretty weak.

They could have gotten any untalented big head to play that part! Thank god he didn't get to actually beat on the turtles...we would have been watching knees to the mid section for twenty minutes followed by an elbow to the face.

The elbow to the face would have been allowed ONLY if he paused, put them "in frame", did the "suck it!" crotch point, THEN hit the elbow. Then he could have pulled a Rey Misterio and tossed Keno into the side of the club like a lawn dart, just for not being Casey Jones.

Neither part 2 or 3 of those movie series derve to be on a best seqeuls list. And I did read the article, now you re read my posts. I never said a good sequel needs to be better than original, that rarely happens.

About why I dis like TMNT 2, read my first post.

Your empirical evidence on this matter, please?

I obviously did, otherwise I wouldn't have quoted most of what you said.

WTF is with you? Just because I bash your opinion doesn't mean I didn't read anything. I fully read your comments about it, and I don't think they make much sense: TMNT 2 had a helluva lot better scriptwriting and acting that TMNT 3. As for not using their weapons, were you asleep duing 2/3 of the movie?

As far as comparing it to T2, that analogy is completey fallacious. Keep in mind that the Terminator series was sci-fi killer action, not something based off a mildly violent comic book. If you really want to compare the downgrade of TMNT to the Terminator series, a more accurate analogy would be what T3 became: a little lighter, less graphic violence, but still a good watch. Now if the TMNT movie took a downfall to the level you described with the Terminator series, it would've been more like the turtles turning into Barney-ish characters with no real plot at all.

And I also don't think you were listening or really grasping what I was saying when I was talking about how he wasn't comparing these to the originals, so let me put it in simpler terms:

The lists consists of the best SEQUELS in the series FOR WHAT THEY'RE WORTH, not the entire series.

Sound better?

IMO, at least one or 2 on that list are "rarely happens" in my book (Robocop 2 and Gremlins 2 namely).
