TMNT Pat Lee Lithograph?

Really sorry if this has been posted before (I havent seen it) but this is from the website at http://www.dreamwaveprod.com

"Celebrating the smash hit comic series in style, this masterfully rendered lithograph captures Pat Lee’s rendition of the boys in green. Originally used as the special incentive cover to the all-new (and sold out!) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1, this image is a rare find that no Turtle fan should pass up!"

By the way - whats a lithograph?

A lithograph is merely printed using a process in which the image to be printed is rendered on a flat surface, as on sheet zinc or aluminum, and treated to retain ink while the nonimage areas are treated to repel ink.

I'm a habitual dictionary.com abuser.

Leo's leg really, really, really bothers me. Looks like someone picked up a big ass green Lego that's the same size as his head and glued it to his leg. But yea, other than that, I looooooove that pic.

*snert* Welcome to the blocky style that is Pat Lee. But I don't mind how the TMNT look in this, compared to some of the more exagerated block art that Pat has done with the TFs.

Also, that's a poster version of the special editon wrap around cover on the first issue TMNT comic. For those who hadn't realized...

Ooo... their store is open now! *trots off to look*

Heh heh

I have this - it came into my comic shop yesterday. It is a thing of beauty on thick stock with really nice colours. I'll need to get it framed though.

I am not sure that I have enough money for the lithograph.

That depends

It goes for $19.95, and your comic shop will only have it if they ordered it in from the Previews catalogue of two months ago. You'll probably be better off looking online, especially at Dreamwave's own online shop.

I searched their online store... They have no TMNT items listed. Maybe in the next few weeks??

Oops

D'oh. That's what I get for just assuming and not looking. Well, I'd guess that they're busy printing and getting the Previews solicited pre-orders out of the way before putting it up in their own store. I'd be surprised if they didn't. The lithograph is 18'' by 24'', btw. Keep looking, they're bound to put it up. We could always bug LeSean about it too.
