Some Toy News

TMNTGal · 09-29-2003, 07:52 PM

According to the ToysRUs Website we should be seeing the Mega Blok sets in Mid October.

- Extreme Battle Radical Ramp
- Battle Truck Bridge
- Extreme Battle 1/4 Pipe Fight
- Ultimate Combat Lair

There's also something listed as 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' By Diamond Select. It's priced at $99.99. What could this be?

Dan let me know that Playmates is seriously considering making a Mouser Multipack as well as a Giant Shredder. The Mouser Multipack may be released in 2004.

I'm looking forward to the MultiPack. I didn't want to purchase several April's just to get those two mousers.

I talk to Dan once and a while. I like to stay updated on the Merchandise. Yes, he's still sending out the newsletter. The last one he sent had some toy sculpts previews. You could always ask Dan if you're email is still on the mailing list. Went to the site a bit a go, it was working fine.

Hey, if you get the chance, can you ask him about the status of the second assortment of the mini figures?

And the Giant Shredder and Mouser Multi-Pack sound great! I'd imagine that the Giant Mouser would come with quite a few Mousers, as well.

What I'm waiting for: an "overscaled" mouser toy...you know, the same scale as the wind-up one from the original line?

Oh, never mind. I didnt know they were all mega blocks. Thats cool though, they come out in a couple weeks.

lethrhd · 09-30-2003, 03:53 PM

Damn thats fantastic! I wonder how much the miniblocks'll go for.

I believe it is one of two items, either the Leonardo statue from last year or the Michaelangelo Statue which is due out in a week or two. I preordered the Michaelangelo statue but on my order it has a different sku, so I'm guessing it is the Leonardo statue

I really wouldn't mind a giant Shredder. Too bad giving him a metallic paint job would cost them too much though... I need something to blind people with
