I've seen them on ebay 3 or 4 times throughout the course of my life, but that's about it.

I have all three sets as shown on the site, though only one is opened. There's not a lot to tell beyond what is obvious. They are a trio of Lego style construction brick building sets created in the 1990's and styled after the classic toy line. I forget where I got the first set (the party wagon), but the other two I ordered via eBay's Italian site. (Who says taking foreign language in school isn't useful.)

Thanks for the info, I might try to find some and pick them up. P.S. Taking foreign languages in school is useful

It would have been neat with some real TMNT Lego comparisons.

I included one when I did my first Lego TMNT review:

Oh, that's amazing. I missed that, didn't know the Preziosi sets came with minifigs.

So I did a bit of research and found that today they are somewhat a distributer of TMNT toys in some place (probably Italy). Its like what they did with Croner back then. Here's a link to their TMNT site: http://turtles.giochipreziosi.it/

These look like bootlegs. There are better creations on Lego Ideas if you have the correct parts. They obviously didn't care one bit about the mini figures.

Well, they certainly ain't official Lego. So yeah, they are off brand brick system with minifigs that looks significantly different then Lego's actual mini figures.

Of course you can build TMNT vehicles and sets 100x bette then this, they are just using the bare basic pieces, unlike today you can get some very appropriate building pieces. Just look at the Party Wagon, it's just using the standard red door used for houses.

Ya the house door is pretty funny.

The van is ok out of all of them but my gosh that mini figure is awful. They literally put zero effort into it.

It helps to remember that building set at that time were different. The Lego minifig may have been introduced in the late 70's, but it took much of the 80's
for them to gain popularity and become as ubiquitous in Lego sets as they are now.

I should also note that the photo is of a minifig that came from a second hand Party Wagon set. So it may not have been in as pristine of shape as the other two. And they did put about the same level of effort into the Turtle minfigs as say a Lego did with their Space minifigs. Of course the results were quite different.

do you think you could do reviews of them and put them on the website? like give whatever set you have built a more in depth look? I'd be greatful if you could
