[Suggestion] Sticky Video Games

[oldmanwinters]

I've noticed the TMNT Video Game section is very outdated in its stickiness. For years, the games which headline the section have been last-gen releases from the Ubisoft era like Smash Up, Arcade Attack, etc. The Turtles in Time Reshelled game isn't even publicly available for purchase anymore!

What say we get a nice Mod to clean house and freshen things up?

[Powder]

You can say the same for almost every section, they all have totally out of date and/or unnecessary stickies.

Hey. The latest movie thread will always and forever be relevant for all time.

Haha, just kidding. Do what needs to be done.

I've been meaning to ask about this for at least a year and I have no idea why I never have.

What would you suggest be stickied instead? I think at least Mutants in Manhattan, Legends, and Power Portal would suffice.

Seems like the old system was to Sticky the most current releases on console, portable, and digital formats. Nowadays, smartphone gaming is practically king though. So I have no idea. Mugen and OpenBOR are my personal favorite places to see TMNT video game development.

The video game section is usually consumed by talk of the most current releases, so I'm not even sure Stickys are necessary for anything other than catch-all threads that might help to prevent clutter.

Ill go through and clean up some stickies, thanks for the suggestion guys

Edit: It's almost 1 am now, I've unstickied a handful of things. If I missed anything big feel free to post a link to it.

I think you could unsticky these:

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=20001 It's almost 10 years old yet has only 6 pages & is not used whatsoever. It's not a containment thread for good material or anything, at this point considering the download links are non-functioning.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=35027 It links to a bunch of threads that nobody ever posts in, some of which not even going beyond 1 page. He'd be free to bump them still, obviously.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=39685 This information is accessible via IMDB. Nobody posts in it, Raph just edits the first post to keep track for the sake of his autograph collection, I think.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=54762 It's 2 issues behind so no longer current.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=24936 Not really a comprehensive resource or active discussion.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=27597 No discussion comes from it.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=5635 There is literally only one post featuring content whose links haven't expired, nobody's paying this thread any mind at all.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=52535 This project is definitely not happening.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=2112 It doesn't seem to serve it's purpose at all.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=30349 These challenges/contests ceased ages ago.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=20514 Nobody makes these anymore.

thanks bud, those are all taken care of
