What Are These?

I dont know if this has already been posted, but there are some toys in the NEW TMNT section of this site which look like the Japanese Anime toys.

you can find them here:

I don't know for sure but i was reading an archie comic a while back and i believe it was Don and Leo that were wearing suits similar to that. I believe it was from the Cyber Samarai mini-series. I have no proof but just a thesis of mine.

They aren't Cyber Samuari
They came out a few years back, They were the Mutant Master Line, the premise was each of the turtles summoned an element R-Fire, L- Wind, D- Water, M-Thunder (not sure why its not wind) The armor in warrior mode combines into a mega weapon, while the shells in 'normal' combines to make a shied, and there heads rotate giving a choice of 2.

And the reaon I know this is cause I kept the card back and I'm looking at it as I write this. I think these also came out in Japan but for a diffrent reason, the cartoon maybe, i remeber seeing a pic of a blue and grey figure similar to this but it may be a coincidence

Shell Fox had it correct. These were originally released in Japan to correspond with the OVA as were the Supermutants and Metal Mutants. You can see pictures of them at my site

Well yes and no. While those are QUITE similar they are not the Supermutants sculpts they are the Mutant Masters (elmental powered TMNT) which look similar but are vastly different. They were probably planned to be used for the anime if it ever picked up but the OVA only covered the two sets and the Saint character that was formed by all four Supermutant Turtles (which never came out in the US).

Anyone else want those Mega Blocks TMNT they show on that stie? Mike's chuck even swing BOOH YEAH! Now that's detail!

Good luck to anyone trying to track the Mutant Masters down. I had a complete US carded set a couple years ago but i sold them which was a huge mistake. Luckily i have a friend in Japan who got me a set of the MIB Mutant Masters as well as my set of Metal Mutants and Super Turtles. Awesome TMNT figures.
