commercial animation for characters vs toon animation

hey

was curious if anyone ever viewed the commercial break youtube vidoes.

it shows chromedome as regular height and not a giant figure.. also shows the blue worm who never made an episode.

i also liked dirt bag and grounchuck better in the toy animation compared to the season 5 episodes. dirtbag was digging up a hole and groundchuck appeared to look much more fiercer..


DO you think these were outtakes from the toons or just specifically made for the commercials?

also i think the turtles that were real life in these old commercials were better than the 2014 turtles... its a poor mans tmnt 3s design lol

I've seen these, those animations were only made for the commercial according to TMNT Officials

Yeah, someone made a thread about this not that long ago. The animation was created specifically for Playmates' use, which is why it looks better than the series & has an unused character like Wyrm in there + villains using their toy accessories rather than in-series weapons.
