My TMNT article is up on Cracked!

A mere three months after I came here to talk about this, my Cracked article on the TMNT games is up! Shockingly, Cracked wasn't crazy about the original idea ("pay me money to play literally every single TMNT game") so I had to come up with a more specific angle:

http://www.cracked.com/blog/we-final...-with-science/

Hope you enjoy it!

PS: Sorry, Raphael fans.

PS2: Sorry everyone, actually.

PS2 slim: Yes, I suck at every single one of the games.

Man, you guys should've done EVERY tmnt game.

I'm not a fan of neo-cracked but this felt a bit like an older article and I laughed a couple times. I wasn't aware of the coloring game's existance

Also, laughed my butt off at this gem:

"Let's just say that Krang has been very "lonely" since he inexplicably became a giant."

They were hard originally when you had just three lives, no healthmeter (hit once = dead). First TMNT had healthmeter but was still hard to beat.

A weird article, in my opinion, but congratulations!

I hadn't ever heard of the Video Challenger game before!

Nice article! I greatly enjoyed reading (especially as a Raphael fan ). I remember I got World Tour for DOS sealed for about $5 on Amazon a couple years ago for no other reason than that it was a still-sealed OT game. I hadn't realized what I got until I read this article and saw the monstrosity of Leo and that turtle.

Am currently debating on whether or not I should break the seal and see it myself.

It was always weird to me that the actual Krang also turned into a giant along with the robot body. Like, it's not just little Krang in a bigger robot. We clearly see there's a giant Krang in there.

Raphael, who bizarrely holds his sai backwards and pokes people with the handle.
Psst... that's how sai actually work.

Whoa, I recognize the name! I'm a pretty regular Cracked reader, and I've read and enjoyed your work a bunch of times. Very cool that you're a member here!

Absolutely shocking end result, though. I'm questioning a lot of things I thought I knew about the world right now.

Since this is a scientific article, you should also publish it in a peer-reviewed gaming journal. Why the Raphael hate, though?

Here's three FoxBox/4Kids TV games that need to be added to the complete TMNT games list. They are in Shockwave though, so you have to download the plugin. There's also this awesome Pac-Man clone called Mutant Munchies.

The three way death in Turtles in Time almost made me cry with laughter.

I read it the other day. I loved it and also I agree. It's Donatello.

i'm really shocked to see how decent the graphics in Fall Of The Foot Clan (Game Boy, 1990) actually looked.

but that gameplay looks like it'd make you want to throw the system out the window after about 3 minutes! .... maybe 4?

The third game almost made me do that. Mixing Metroid with Ninja Turtles on a GameBoy leaves a lot to be desired.
