If the 2003 series had the Red Sky theme

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW-Tu3y-AWc

I actually think the red sky theme is pretty good and actually fits better than the original 2003 theme. Makes sense because the red sky theme is a darker theme and the 2003 series was darker than the 1987 series, even when the 1987 series had it's Red Sky episodes. Let me know what you think

I really like the Red Sky theme, a lot, but it doesn't belong with anything but the Red Sky episodes.

I wonder if they had a Mirage TMNT cartoon, the Red Sky theme would actually fit pretty well, too. Minus some of the lyrics of course. The 2003 theme is ok but I feel like it fits more to have the Red Sky theme in there instead.

If any 2003 episodes feel like red sky episodes, it's Space Invaders (all 3 parts). The sky actually was red most of the time during those episodes.

So I think the red sky song would fit best in those episodes.

Let me guess:

(puts on a 2003 Raph and Mikey voice)

Raph: Hey Mikey why is the sky all red?

Mikey: Oh I don't know Raph, because it looks more cool!

I think the melody of the red sky theme fits well with the 2003 series, but I don't care much for the lyrics.

The Red Sky theme would fit the 2003 series perfectly. Then again, the Red Sky theme is my favorite TMNT theme of all.

It's my favourite tmnt theme as well. I prefer the ending one, as it sounds more epic without the lyrics, especially after episodes such as Get Shredder and during the 3-parter in season ten.

Oh, yes. It sounds so great without the lyrics. I wish the opening version was released without the lyrics.

And yes, epic is exactly the word to describe the closing credits version of the theme.

Fun fact: I found out that Red Sky had its own opening theme in 2005, but I never actually saw it until 2010 when I watched it for the first time on YouTube. The season 4-7 intro was still used in Ireland for red sky, probably to avoid having to do more editing for censorship reasons.

The 2l3 theme had some silly lyrics but it wasn't that bad.

It's really a shame that, after all these years, the Fred Wolf series still has the best OP by far. That OP is legendary. And I'd take the Red Sky theme over most of the other TMNT OPs as well.

I really like the Red Sky ending credits. More than the OP itself.

I guess he doesn't qualify as African American to cubed because he doesn't say things like "yessa massa", "sup dawg", "yo", "kill whitey" and "shee-it negro!"

I feel like the red sky theme is made for the 2003 series, as it was the darkest and most mature of all the turtle series. The original 2003 theme is ok but the red sky theme makes it feel a whole lot better and fit the mood more, especially when the 2003 series was darker than than the 1987 series, even when they were in their red sky phase.

Look at the video and check out all those clips. Notice that some scenes depict a red sky.

I can imagine that one scene in 'The Shredder Strikes' where Raph clashes with Shredder with a red sky
