TMNT on DVD...those DVD's are missing something

call me crazy but i believe that the DVD's are missing some very interesting aspects other DVD's have...like commentary from cast of crew. i would so love to hear from the performers of the TMNT body players or even hear from the directors in general on the behind the scene actions of the movies.

maybe it's just wishing thinking but i believe that DVD's should be updated or something!

anyone agree?

Well, it's cause they're more for kids then they are for adults. In reality it's probably lucky we got -anything- other then the movies themselves. There are some rumors that New Line is going to do a SE of the first movie at least. Peter Laird has hinted there is some rumbling about it. We'll just have to wait and see. Frankly as bad as kids movies usually get treated, we're lucky they're widescreen.

I agree. I am one to buy any dvd based on what extra features it has. It would have to be an extremely good movie or show, or if I can't find it on video, in order for me to get it without extra features. I usually compare them with the Simpsons dvds, and then I decide whether to get it or not.

extras

Yeah, interviews with the cast of the first movie would rock! A commentary would be cool as well.

Yeah, the DVD of the first movie doesn't have much on it does it? Oh well I was happy just to have the movie anyhow...

I have always felt that the games on II and III were rigged. (pick that flick) I love the transfer to DVD, and I do not mind be overcharged at Media Play for III... It was well worth it.

I only end up watching the special features on any given DVD once or twice and never again, so I really don't care that much. I have 100+ DVDs and get more all the time, so I really don't have time to go through all the extras... I barely even have time to watch the movies themselves anymore.

It'd be nice to have 'em on the TMNT DVDs but I didn't expect any and I'm not too upset we didn't get any.

I've always wanted a SE of TMNT I, especially with the alternative ending as well as deleted scenes (like the blindfold training session). It'd be awesome if NewLine actually released something like this.
