Happy 20 Years!

20 years ago today, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird watched too much bad TV and ended up creating the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Insane!

It wasn't until May 5th that the first comic was published, which is the official anniversary, but I think today still warrants a, "Wahoo!"

So.. Wahoo!

You're really close Arashi Panduh. I wasn't born till late 1985 so I didn't even know about the comics untill like 1996, but the cartoon was great. That's way cool that this is 20 years! That seems like a long time for the Turtles to still be going strong!

Yep all began with two guys that came up with an unusal idea that later became a very successful comic series, TV show, movies, and merchandise.

I heard there won't be any special event of the 20th anniversary of TMNT in 2004. not unless Laird is planning a special event by the 25th anniversary.

Anyway it's good to see TMNT making their way for 20 years.

We're keeping our fingers crossed for something at Comic-Con next year. But even if they don't, a bunch of us have our own thing in mind.

Would be nice if they released a special addition "Krang in his android body" action figure. As far as I remember, they never released it in the 80's, despite the fact that Krang was a key character in the show.

Anyway it's good to see TMNT making their way for 20 years. __________________ I am a fan of TMNT and I'm still one today. I got into the habbit back in 1992 or 93' when I was little. I would like to thank my 2 year older cousin for getting me in the habbit. 2001 was when I revised my knowledge on TMNT. And today I'm a bigger fan than I was years ago. I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD.
