Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Season 1 Ver 2

Can someone tell me what it is? How does it differ from version 1. I searched for threads relating to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Season 1 Ver 2 but didn't find anything.

And what is the difference between Volumes and the actual seasons?

Yes. There's no description for it on sites that sell them. Reviews give a little info but not much.

If it's the original series, the only thing I can think of is that it doesn't include half of Season 10 with it.

They removed those off the newer releases? That's a good thing since it was out of place there.

I was under the impression they never changed the disc content, which sucked since the 13 episodes per disc really hurt the quality. Those dvd releases were really bad, remember at one point they switched from using the episode guide on wikipedia to the one on ninjaturtles.com or the other way around which had different numbering. This meant that one episode was repeated and put on two different volumes but another episode was skipped. Here in the drome we made campaigns and emailed Lionsgate to not forget to release the skipped episode and eventually they did.

I don't think the content of the later discs changed in re-releases, as they did two major re-releases with that Turtle Van boxset and that big Purple complete series set after all the single set releases.

I mean it's not like episode order for the show matters that much during the seasons, since the show was all over the place in terms of continuity, so it doesn't really mess things up besides the eps that were skipped till the Season 10 DVD.

Do any of the DVDs contain useful information that isn't in the episodes?

The bonus features didn't start until Season 4 when they switched to seaso releases rather than volumes. But nothing in there than what we already knew. They do have some interviews at least.

not really, they really half assed the releases and never made anything better, as long as lionsgate owns it, it appears no one there cares so we'll never get anything.
