Derrick J Wyatt is dead

Derrick J Wyatt is dead. He was a character designer for Transformers Animated, Ben 10, Legion of Superheroes, Teen Titans, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and several other cartoons.

His contribution to TMNT was fairly small but he was responsible for Half-Shell Heroes: Blast to the Past and Teenage Mecha Ninja Turtles.

How is it that he worked on so many great shows? I was a bit bummed since he was a very active member in Titansgo.net when the original teen titans cartoon was airing. He gave us a lot of insight including that Teen Titans was supposed to be in continuity with the DCAU and they planned a crossover but it never happened so instead they did "collaborations" which is why we had Kid Flash in Teen Titans and Speedy in JLU.

I wasn't aware of his contributions to TMNT but I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Mecha Turtles short, no wonder since it was his style. I loved the design of the half shell heroes even if I didn't like the special.
