If that includes everything up until even Armageddon, that'll be fairly impressive. I'd buy it.

Maybe they'll have Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero

Too bad I think these games are all just terrible... I mean why the hell would I play the clunkiest fighting games ever made if the only selling point is extra blood? I could just mod an actually good fighting game if I wanted that. Or you know, Samurai Shodown...

If they went up to Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe that'd be great, too. There's no way to play that outside of getting a PS3 or emulation and IMO it was the zenith of MK fighting since they reverted back to 2D fighting.

Netherrealm Studios does have the DC license, it could be possible, But Digital Eclipse is the studio working on this.

Why would anyone want MK3 if Ultimate MK3 is on there?...and why bother with either if Trilogy is included? Back in the day both versions of part 3 became pointless once Trilogy was made.

I actually do have all 3 of these games but only because I got them in order. Like I got MK3 but eventually upgraded to Ultimate 3 (used for like $5 much later on but it’s ugly in 16bit) then obviously Trilogy after getting a PlayStation. I would have skipped Part 3 altogether if I knew Trilogy would happen.

This is is really cool though. I’d like to have Part 4. Never owned it just rented it...but again what about MK Gold? I rented that too.

We're not getting any of the 3D era games, we're getting the easy to emulate ones. Those are big enough games that they would be in the original announcements. The extras are just going to be that, extras, the only reason Deadly Alliance for GBA is there is because well it's GBA easy to emulate.

Hell so far they haven't announced any PS1(MK3/MK4/Mythologies/Trilogy/SF) or N64 versions (MK4/Mythologies). I think the ?s most likely indicates versions of what's already been announced. We still don't have MK3/4 on GB confirmed and MK3 on Game Gear I think, those are far more likely to happen even if for most people they don't matter, hence why they're the extra ?s. But yeah I'd be happy if we get Mythologies, Trilogy and Gold.

I'm not even a huge MK player but they all play very different. I have a soft spot for Vanilla MK3, the hole world is built around the fighters being in the "real world', not as much mystical elements, it's in a way better balanced. Ultimate just added the ninjas, so one new sprite and 9 new characters out of that. Trilogy just plays very different whencompared to Ultimate, it feels like a from hack because it is one, you have these characters from other games but not properly implemented which gives you a crazy game, I like it but it's a weird one.

Oh, so it looks like it only goes up to MK4 and throws in a few GBA MKs, too? Pfft. Nothing really to get excited about here at all. Probably if sales are good they'll keep going and collect more.

MK4 but no MK Gold? Weird!

The biggest oversight there is MK Gold. Why wouldn't they want to include the best, most complete version of MK4 out there?

Do you mean because of the Aggressor? That can be turned off.

I don’t quite remember but I think Trilogy uses the same storyline.

I have the means of playing arcade-perfect versions of MK through UMK3 on the PlayStation 2, but my PlayStation 2 doesn't seem to work anymore. So this collection would be a Godsend to me.

I can play an arcade-perfect version of Final Fight through the Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle, I can play Street Fighter II through Super Street Fighter II Turbo through the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Turtles in Time through the Cowabunga Collection, and I have the Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection to look forward to. Now if they could bring The Simpsons arcade game to consoles, then I'd have it made. It could even include the Simpsons video games that came out for past systems.

Has anybody here ever played Mortal Kombat:Shaolin Monks? That game is really fun up until you get to the end. You have to beat 2 or 3(I can't remember) bosses all while using only one life bar. I remember it took me like 2 whole days of trying to finally beat them. Another case where the final boss/bosses were way too difficult.

I have it, and I haven't even finished it.

Those games sucked ass. That would be the only collection I'd ever buy for literally one game (the arcade).

Is the reason that you haven't finished it due to the final boss rush? I'll never forget how difficult that was. I even had to spam projectile attacks.

I think that the gameboy game Escape From Camp Deadly is actually a pretty good game. Bart's Nightmare would have been good if it wasn't for those Indiana Jones levels.
