Mr. Ogg's "chocolate pudding"

So I decided to watch the Mr. Ogg episode to see if there was anything that could retroactively tie him to stuff like the Battle Nexus or alternate dimensions other than his own. Unfortunately he's quite a different from his SMA counterpart, basically just being a ceramics muncher who just decided to be friends with Shredder and decided the Turtles had to be evil because Shredder said so. In SMA he's basically way more like Mxyzptlk, actually messing around people for his own amusement, so there really does come across more like an excuse to get around DC's copyright on Mxyzptlk.

But that's not important, what's important is something he does in the episode. One of things he does to the Turtles is open up a pipe in the street and out comes a gooey brown substance. This substance then completely covers the turtles and everything around them. It gets in their mouths and Mike, thankfully I suppose, says that it tastes like chocolate.

Were they trying to imply something here or did they just not realise?

It's poop. He's from Dimension Z and Gen Z loves eating ass.

Mystery solved.

Burnham turning Mr. Ogg into the legitimate Mr. Mxyzptlk of the TMNT universe was a stroke of genius, and turned Ogg into a character that I never really thought much about into a character I always look forward to seeing in Saturday Morning Adventures.
Now with that out of the way, we can continue discussing Michelangelo eating magic Dimensional feces.

So here's an oddity I didn't consider before, Mr. Ogg is primarily styled on Mxyzptlk but his mannerisms and voice is based on the Paul Reubens character Pee-Wee Herman. Paul Reubens himself went on to play Bat-Mite in Batman the Brave and the Bold, who is a member of Mxyzptlk's species.

Not entirely sure if this is a coincidence or not.

I would love to do a reading with the original 1987 voice cast on the issue of Saturday Morning Adventures where Ogg puts the Turtles on trial for breaking the fourth wall. I know Rob Paulsen originally played the part in that episode, but I do a pretty good impression of Mr. Ogg!
