Are you an, "ally?"

Everywhere online I keep seeing people ask, "Are you an ally?"

Well, are you?

I only ever see this around in reference to LGBTQ or "the trans community" specifically.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

i think the "allyship" thing was among the earlier manipulations by black people a few years back when the social mania first took over. It was later, ironically, appropriated by the trans community for their social BS.

Sure. I have no reason not to be.

And we're talking the actual general population here, the average everyday person who is not looking to hurt anyone, not the boogieman that people imagine are hiding in the shadows waiting to pounce and make their kid a crossdresser.

I can't say I do anything other than mind my own business, but for the most part that's kinda what's needed? I have no interest in putting people on pedestals for any reason, that or otherwise. But someone making personal life choices that aren't hurting anyone else does not bother me. I may not understand it, because I'm not in their brain, but it's their life and that's on them to decide that.

That isn't what those people are looking for in "allyship".

They aren't looking for "peace" and "normalcy". If they were they wouldn't have structured "allyship" as low-hanging fruit for the easily outraged and misled.

Yeah, ally to them is "buys into and helps reinforce my delusion(s) and will defend them on the internet and/or in person if they're not just a keyboard warrior."

Yeah, the truth is I don't mind gay homosexuals in real life. I don't know many personally, but the few who later "came out" I have no problems with. But at the same time I'm not going to become a "champion for gay rights" or go on parades or put on an LGBT T-shirt or anything.

For one, I just don't care enough. And for two, it's not worth my time since I'm not part of their "community."

Granted I didn't support "Black Lives Matter" either for that matter, but that's another can of worms. And I love black people!

I guess I'm an 'ally' in the sense I live and let live and have nothing personal against gay people. I'm friends with several and we get along fine.

I won't go out of my way to go to any marches or purposely write pro-gay posts online or whatever because I don't really do that for anything politically related or anything.

I guess my earlier description really only applies to the "trans community" in how it is used. "I'm an ally to the gay community" doesn't really have the same connotations.

Poetic Rant.....

This entire culture and almost everything that we've seen for ten years is a result of a generation raised like emotional-autists with soft language and failure-trophies. It's led to maladjusted-normalcy. All you have to do is see the tantrum-thrown passive-aggression in adults that resembles school-yard heirarchy and you have it identified.

A decade or more basically of society's children throwing tantrums and complaining about classmates as adults. Because it worked for them in grammar school as a lifestyle.

There's literally no difference. "Be my ally or you are evil". An "ask" for a dramatic-commitment to one's BS worldview - "you have to be my friend and be nice to me". It's literally all the same childlike self-centeredness as grammar school tactics. And for power they huddle together in the streets like "Lord of the Flies". Society's children.

Poetic Rant over....

A lot of people have the mindset that, "If you're not with us, you're against us!" and take no substitutions.

If you're not an ally for the cause you're an enemy of the state! And they will burn you at the stake and put your head on a pike!

I have never heard about this internet ally stuff, but I am for sure an ally. I am straight, but I have no problems with people being gay or trans. However, I do have a problem with trans sports competition due to the unfair advantage.

Technically speaking that makes you not an ally, but an enemy. Those types (the ones that insist on being part of the LGBT, not regular people trying to live their lives) want you to go full lockstep.

That is one thing that sucks. Being gay automatically drafts you into the 'community' whether you want to to or not and you get blamed for their crazier views even when you personally don't agree with them. Kinda like 'yo, I don't want violence and all that crazy ****, I just don't want people hating me or trying to hurt me cause I want to suck another man's ****'.

I've known quite a few gay people in my life, and actually several gay women. Not one of them dyed their hair purple or pink or some such BS. Not one. Probably because they were "people first" and didn't identify purely as their crotch-preference.
