Post X-mas deals
I've run across two great online deals for anyone who might have come up short on the Yule time loot.
JC Penny has their Lair box set clearanced for $19.99 (This is the one that comes in the plain box but includes a Leo and Shredder figure as well as the Turtle Cycle!) http://www1.jcpenney.com/jcp/Product...;SearchString= Target has the Michelangleo Statue for $74.99 (not quite a steal, but still $50 to $60 off full retail) http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html...sin=B0000945KF So anyone else find any killer deals? |

Not quite on this level, but Safeway has been selling the 12" Turtles and inflatable chairs for Christmas. And now, the chairs are marked down half price just $6.99, and the 12" figures were $17 something. Too bad those ones weren't half off.
And I managed to get the armor Turtles for $4.79 each at Target. |

I ordered 3 Playsets since they were so cheap. Still waiting for them. They'll probably arrive this coming week.

I ordered the Mikey statue from Target several days ago. It shipped on the 23rd, so I should have it early this week.

If you want pictures, check the offical TMNT page.
http://www.ninjaturtles.com/html/limited.htm I believe that they are supposed to be 12" scale. But since the turtles are shorter and hunched over in this pose, they are about 9" tall. FYI, the Raphael Statue is supposed to be solicited in one of the upcoming issues of Previews (for those that want to order through their comic shop) I believe it was the April issue. |

Wow! Thanks for the heads up TMNTman! I wasn't willing to pay $50 for the playset, but I can do $19.99 plus $4.95 shipping!
So did anyone who ordered the playset get theirs yet? Did it include everything listed? |

Other Christmas deals...
I don't know if this is for all Wal-Marts but that one by me has the 12" figures for only $15 instead of the regular $20. When I went, they had all four turtles.

TMNTman, I just wanted to say thanks again for that JCPenney link! My Sewer Lair set arrived today complete with Leo, Shredder, and the shell cycle as advertised!
I'll be setting the lair up as soon as it reaches room temperature. |

Yeah, I know how that goes. I'm pretty good at controlling impulse buys, but not as good as I'd like to be. I've also got a habit of over buying stuff...but that can be good in some areas. For instance, I've got a bunch of silver and gemstones that I bought years and years ago...now I'm in school again, majoring in metals, and I'll soon be doing stonesetting. So there are a few less items I'll have to buy this semester. But still, things don't always end up being as useful as one could hope.
