Leonardo Special and its continuation

For those who actually read it, Was it the first appearances of the Elite Foot Ninjas? Or was it Return to New York?

This was their first appearance. During "City At War" Karai even says to the TMNT when they go to the remains of April's pad: "This is where you first met the Elite" (not an exact quote).

What about "Return To New York"? I could have sworn there were four of them. They attack the idiotic Rapheal and nearly killed him and Leo saved his butt in time.

You asked what was their first appearance. It was Leo #1-Vol. 1 #10.

They also appeared in "Return to New York" Vol. 1 #19-21 and throughout "City At War" Vol. 1 #50-62.

Can you tell me what active roll were doing in the Leonoardo special and issue 10? They don't seem to mention it on the official site.

In Leo #1 they attack Leonardo. I don't believe that they are actually seen in #10.

*chuckles* They're not that big. The turtles are just that short (they're supposed to be like 4'8" to 5'2").

If I recall correctly, there were two or three.

The actual 'throwing' is done off-panel.
