Snowturtles - TMNT Snowsculptures
Hi,
This is our entry for the snowman competition we have here in Winnipeg, Canada, this year 2004. Just hoping to share with all of the TMNT fans out there. It took us about 1 month to complete, working on it on and off. 3 to 4 hours to create each tower of snow. 6 hours to carve all of the turtles. 3 to 4 hours to paint all of the turtles (food coloring and water mixture). 3 to 4 hours to create weapons & bandanas. 2 to 3 hours to place all of the accessories on (weapons and bandanas) & final details and touchups. Hah yeah, that is pretty awesome. You guys put in way too much time doing it
 but still, cool. Cold. FROZEN! And they're HUGE!Hey by the way, those sais aren't icicles, are they? 'Cause that would be even more awesome...

We were actually planning on making Shredder, but we ran out of time. We were going to have Shredder directly across the street on our neighbour's lawn, so it looked like they were going to rumble. Oh well.
