New Show

I love the new show, but I was just curious of your thoughts on a possible furture series. Maybe sometime in the future there will be another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show. If there ever is one, what would you like it to be about? Do you want it to be CGI, normal animation, or live action?

I wouldn't mind seeing the long awaited second season of The Next Mutation. But that's just me.

This current TMNT show is only a year old, and I am loving every bit of it.
I hope it runs for many more years. This show has been awesome so far.
I am not even thinking of a future show, since I don't want the current show to end. I am sure I speak for lots of fans when I say this.

Oh yeah, I'm not looking for this new series to end, as I think it's just about the best thing on TV at all...

Buuut if we're looking ahead here, I'd say another cartoon. Just like this one. Maybe it's still the same cartoon, just running for a really long time!

Yeah, that'll work.

I don't want the new show to end either. Perhaps they could have two shows of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles running at the same time. For Example: We could have the current show and maybe a show made more for adults. What are your thoughts

I'd like a nice and R rated cartoon on HBO. Like Spawn was.

Weird Thoughts.

The Series is very new and not yet spread over all countries (Germany for example)

I can`t believe the Show is going boring for you?

Not boring for me at all!! I said I was hoping that the "future" TMNT show would be the current one - still on the air.

A future show different from the current one would have to be seen about twenty years from now for the next generation of children. And, I think this brand new show should start in the future, or like where Mirage Vol. 4 currently is. I say this because starting at the beginning (meeting April, meeting Casey, fighting Shredder etc.) for a third time would be so redundant to the fans who grew up with it from the eighties. There's plenty of material for kids of the future to read up on their origin. Oh, and as far as the type of show, CGI would really be nice to see. If not, then I hope to see them as they are now. I'm very happy with the animation.

Yea, that sounds really good.

What I really want id for some station to start showing reruns of the old show. That would make me happy.

I agree with Taloniss. An R/TV MA rated show would be interesting. Just like Spawn but with a lot more episodes.

Exactly what I want. I Loved that Spawn series and I'd like to see a TMNT series just like it.

BTW, They're currently working on a fourth season of the spawn series. I can't wait!

Is it going to be on HBO? I haven't been able to find any information on it. It's been off the air for years so I thought it was cancelled.

I'm assuming so. There was some information about it posted by a McFarlane staff member over at the spawn boards a week or so ago. I'll try to find the info again.

Like one other person said, the show is too new to think about another new show on top of it. I know you guys mean like later on, years down the road when this show is considered old. But still, it is wayyyyyy too soon now to think about that. I'm fine with just the two already-existing TMNT toons. Now I wish THOSE toons would play back to back from one another. Heck, they reshowed the old Back to the Future toon on FB, why not the old TMNT toon? I'd say instead of making another, and at this point over-redundant TMNT series, they outta make a 4th movie. Which of course has already been discussed, but just has not happened yet. Or also like someone else said, maybe make some more NTM eps, and revise the show alittle bit more so that it wouldn't be so cheesy as it was.

i'd kinda like to see the second season of NM too....it'd be interesting....but i haven't seen the first season....side bar....does disney (through saban) not have total rights to the NT:NM series....since it is still under partial licence from surge??? is that why we see crap anime like digimon on ABC family and no x-men, spiderman, or NT:NM cause of the licencing from marvel and mirage....sorry just though i'd add that in there.
And why does an adult series have to be rated r?? it could be dark and more adult an be pg or pg-13....i mean look at TMNT 1....it was awesome...just righ

I agree. The new show is everything you could want or expect. Everyone considers their self a fan, or else they would not be on here and if they like the new show, then it should stay popular. Although, when I saw that CG pilot a few years back, it did make me interested.

I'm probably going to be crucified and blacklisted 'round here for saying this, buuuut..

I'd actually like to see the new 'toon end.

Don't get me wrong, I love the show (It very well may be my favorite incarnation of the Turtles), and I'm not saying it should end anytime soon. But if you look at all shows that last for more than six or seven years, they just start becoming weaker as they get older (with The Simpsons being an exception.. although, of late, even that's been fairly weak in comparison to previous season).

One of the things that annoys me about a lot of US-created shows is that they don't have a definitive ending, though. The series just goes on and on and on until it gets cancelled. It'd be nice for the current series to have an actual end.

Nothing drastic has to happen. The turtles can all stay alive and everything.. Maybe Shredder could finally be sent back to the Utroms homeworld or something? I dunno. It'd just be nice for there to be some closure.
