New TMNT series only on Fox?

Hi, I been hearing a lot about the new TMNT series comming out, I look forward to it, But, Is the cartoon only gonna be shown on fox stations?, The reason why cause non of the local fox stations air cartoons any more, All they have is news programs, One station used to air fox cartoons but got sold to a spanish company, therefore, no more fox cartoons, This upsets me cause I think all the fox cartoon shows are better then what the WB has.

Yeah, the new TMNT cartoon will be airing on Fox during Saturday mornings. I believe Fox got rid of their afternoon cartoons, but my Fox station still shows cartoons on Saturday mornings. Check your local listings just to make sure.

Oh, and welcome to the forums!

*gives TigerClaw a mango of welcome*

Well, I have Tivo and I did a search on the program guide, There is practically no fox kids cartoons on it, most of them ended up on the family channel, So I cant find it anywhere, Its really unfair that the local fox stations change there lineup in favor of showing these news programs on saturday mornings, It totally ruins the saturday morning cartoon experience for me since there are no good shows on any more, I was hoping to see TMNT since its the only good show I would watch.

Aww... Did you try doing a search for any of the Fox Box cartoons? Because if you can find them (and they'll be debuting this Saturday) then you'll have no problems getting the new cartoon.

That's odd... Oh wait, I get it now! For a short while, UPN aired all of Fox's afternoon cartoons. I don't know if that's still the case in my area, but I doubt it. Maybe UPN will be airing all of Fox's kid programs in your area. Don't worry if you can't find TMNT listed in Tivo. The cartoon won't be debuting until February of next year. Since you were able to find Kirby and the other shows, then I'm sure you'll be getting the TMNT.

April will definitely be in the new series. In fact, she was one of the few characters named by Dan Berger that are guaranteed to be on the show. However, the role she will play (Baxter's assistant? News reporter? Antique store owner?) is debatable and not much is known right now.

I just hope she wont be the April that always needs rescuing, I mean, If you look at the original cartoons, At times, She always get into a lot of trouble, Then again, TV Reporters always get into all sorts of trouble getting the latest news, Either way, I hope the April in this new series more of a character who can take care of herself, Though, Would need the turtles help in case a situation goes bad.

Yeah, that was getting old too, I thought. But I think she'll be a little more tough in this carton. They'll be rescuing her fromt he mousers the first time they meet (that's a given), but hopefully she'll stand on her own after that more.

April as Baxter's assistant? That makes absolutely no sense to me. What was April's Role in the original comics anyway, I've never read them.

April's original role was, indeed, the assistant to Baxter Stockman. He reveals his plot to destroy one of the buildings in the city, but she refused to join in on his scheme. That's when he sent the mousers after her in the sewers... And of course, she runs into the TMNT before she could meet her end. I don't what her role was after that, since I'm missing a lot of original Mirage comics.

Hopefully somebody around here (even if that might be me) will have the time enough to encode the eps from either a tape or directly via a TV card when the time comes. I hope I'll have learned how to use Adobe Premeire enough by then to hook my VCR to my computer...then, EVERYBODY can watch the eps!

One of these days MP4 will the norm for video...

not yet, according to Dan Berger they may of started animating by now... with computers animation techniques have improved dramatically it won't take long to make a whole show. And since it comes out in March it will still be aa while

Yeah, i think i heard they signed a contract for 26 eps. The good thing is that this time Peter Laird is working with it, so the show wont do same mistakes as the first series.
