From the release list. This list has changed, so the figures may come out in a different order. And often the figures will come out a month or so before the months listed on the list. Those months just meant when they would have the most market presence. The Metal Mystic has not been confirmed, but is likely.
April/May (Now): Fire Foot Mystic July/August: Water Foot Mystic September/October: Wind Foot Mystic November/December: Earth Foot Mystic

Dude, you have to read the *whole* post. Splinter said it right in his reply:
"The Metal Mystic has not been confirmed, but is likely. " As of right now, playmantes has not said they're doing a Metal Mystic. But that's because there's only so many waves of figures per year. and sicne all five are simple repaints of the same mold, putting two in the same wave could hurt sales. So they're putting one in each wave until they go through all five. They could only fit in four this year, so the fifth, the Metal mystic, will likely be part of the 2005 line. That said, is anyone feeling lie Playmates is *really* sneaky here? I mean, thse're cartoon-characters.. they never appeared in the comic, or anywhere before.. and they just happen to be *five* guys, all wearing the same outfit... sounds like a toy-ploy to me. and, damnit, it worked. I'll be buying all five! I just hpe the Metal mystic comes with the mini-Shredder clone... it'll make the fifth purchase that much easier to deal with. |

I think the reason the Metal one is likely coming last, is because it wouldn't be a straight repaint. While he has the same basic design as the other, there is some differences. The hat's panals look more like sheets of metal. And not strawlike, like the other 4. And there were rivet marks on his body armor in each corner of the panals. And it looks like he was wearing metal arm bracers also. I had to check the DVD again for a good look at him.

Ah-hah! Haven't seen the episode yet (I work weekends, so I wait for the DVD Box sets).
Well, that's even better. Here's hoping he is a different mold. After buying 4 Elite and trying to find four unique poses for the same body, I don't look forward to finding *five* of them! |
