Question about ARCHIE series..

ok the last issue i ever got of it was 61 and the offical site has up to 65..so what i wanna know is how many issue are there in the archie TMNT series? cuz i thought it pretty much ended after 61. i never saw any more of the comics after that in stores. that and this summer im going to Wizard World Chicago and i wanna start back on getting all these issues. i never read any of the mirage covers at all then. im sure ill grab those to but its the archies that i really grew up reading.

There is also a thread for general Archie questions like yours in the Archie FAQ thread too.

The regular series is 72 issues, bookended by two 3-issue miniseries.

bookended? i know there was a 3-issue miniseries at the beginning, but there was one at the end?

also, it was supposed to have another story arc that never panned out. sad - it looked promising.

so, what was the end miniseries? unless i misunderstood you.

They don't have the right cover for issue one. I remember in the first issue the turtles fought the power rangers and kicked their asses. Pretty funny stuff imo.

Good hunting! Hope you find them man. Also, the story was called
"Year of the Turtle" And it featured them tracking down fragments of a talisman that can literaly move mountains. it was cool three issues, But at the time, I thought it was the lead in to a new series, Because it didn't quite fit in with the previous Archie run. But alas, No go. They also had pin ups in the back that were interesting. Anyway, Good hunting!
