Classic Episode Discussion: Teenagers from Dimension X

Alright, this has been long overdue, sorry about the wait guys. Anyway, Krang sends Shredder the Mento Neutralizer and the Neutrinos come to Earth to warn the turtles! Then for the rest of the episode Shredder is after the dimensional portal on the star mobile. Anyway, I liked this episode. Probably my favorite episode with the neutrinos in it. Also had a couple of good Shredder moments.
Robot: "Halt! Identify yourself!"
Shredder: "Certainly, identify us Bebop."

Yeah it was a pretty cool ep. Tho the one thing about, and about the whole series really that was alittle annoying, was the inconsistancy. What I mean by that was that in the ep the Neutrinos and April met up again, but the Neutrinos asked "Who are you?" Unless they totally forgot they had met before in one of the five-part miniseries eps, "Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X". I still love the series very much, but that inconsistancy thing was alittle strange.

I dont think I saw this one but I saw "hot rodding teenagers" I would like to see it though because the nuetrinos are awesome.

Hmm the second episode of TMNT I ever saw...the first one I taped. I watched it over and over again all week, and I practically learned it word for word.. I can probably still quote some of it now.

The episode though, was just ok. Honestly, I never really liked the Neutrinos. For this episode though, they concocted Mike feelings for Kala, something that was not seen at all in "Hot Rodding". It escalated to the episode "The Grybyx", but oddly, once the series moved to CBS, Mike and Kala didn't show any attraction toward each other whatsoever.

One goof: The nutrenos asked the turtles who april is. They should have known because she was with them when they first met, hot rodding teenagers.

They showed the foot soilders for the first time since Shredder and splintered. The foot soilders appeared when the nutrenos buzzed the technodrome.


IT was an ok ep. That was clever of shredder leaving the turtles in the bad part of town for the thugs to take care of them.

He leaves the neutrinos in the bad part of town. He takes the turtles with him to put them in the mento-neutralizer.

well in the end of Hot Rodding Teenagers, Mikey let a tear slip out of his eye as he waved goodbye to the Neutrinos. The following eps built up on that.

I shamefully admit, I have not bought the DVD set yet, so I haven't seen the episode (I'm sooooo broke.)

Anyway, I DID read the comic book adaption, and I recall really liking this episode. True, the beatnik lingo of the Neutrinos is a little annoying, but they're kinda cool in their own way.

I know they eventually made action figures of all the Neutrion's (in the Toon Turtles assortment), but I always wondered why there was only a Zak in the regular line....

I loved the concept of the Neutrinos! They were totally hip to the max!
I always hoped that Michaelangelo and Kala would have a serious relationship. It never did happen, though .

oh this is one of my favorite tmnt episodes!! The nutirnos really know how to have fun!!! And i love how the turtle van was made in it, plus the flying cars!!
