Giant Mouser Discussion

Ok so I just got my Giant Mouser (cost me a pretty penny on Ebay but that's another story! ) and the first thing I can say is - huh?

I know the scale issue has already been talked about but after playing the game and seeing how those things are meant to be, it looks plain rediculous standing next to the original four.

My other question mark is about the shoulder missiles. Don't be mis-lead peoples - they don't actually fire. They are in NO way spring loaded. Instead, according to the picture on the back of the card at least, you have to push or 'flick' the missile to fire them. DUMB! I tried for a good 5 minutes to successfully 'fire' the missiles so they got more than 5 cm from it. How they heck is a little kid gonna do that? (Or maybe I'm just a retard...)

The head of the Mouser seems to be on at an angle, rather than straight up meaning he's either always looking at the sky or at his toes. The Mouser also suffers from the bane of all Playmate toys - articulation (or lack thereof). His hands/arms are straight up and down as are the legs. No wrist, ankle or shoulder movement to speak of. (I spose this is at least justifiable - he's a robot after all, not a living breathing thing)

The spring loaded hands are nice though - it looks sweet putting one of your excess weapons in there!

Well that's my thoughts on The Giant Mouser. What say you?

Mate I'm in Adelaide! If your willing to pay that bit more, you can get it all at Ebay. I'm only paying so much cause I know they will NEVER stock em out here!

You might want to double check. The mouser's neck is articulated in two places, at the body and at the base of the head. you may just have the joint turned crocked.

I think he's a pretty good figure. Not the best TMNT fig but still not bad.

I just got mine today, and let me tell you, I'm very forgiving when it comes to toys, but this one is crap.

For what it is, it's a good figure. For what it is.......

It could have used more articulation, but hey, all the TMNT figures are like that.

I like it, but then I haven't played the game yet, so I don't really know what it's supposed to look like. Those missle launchers are stupid, but I took them off as soon as I got it open so they don't bother me at all.

In terms of looks it is spot on. It's mainly the scale and articulation I'm worried about. But your damn right - the missile launchers blow!

Oh and thanks tmntman your right, the head is jointed at the neck - mine just came out of the packet that way! Cheers

Heh heh, I should probably pick up one of these for my boyfriend, considering he thinks all that is mouser-y owns.

Its almost sad the way he looks every time Leo scraps a Mouser.
