The Trading Card Game

So I went to my local comic bookstore and picked up some of these damnfangled new trading card game cards that everyone is talking about these days. I rushed home with the cards ready to play. I got the starter set and 6 booster packs. But when I got home I came to find out I had noone to play with! I solved that problem quickly, I'll play a quick game with....

ACE DUCK! Yes everyone's favorite retired duck pilot is making a special appearance to play the card game with me. I feel this is a great honor, I've always wanted to be in the same room as you Ace Duck let alone play the offical TMNT card game.

Ace Duck: So I get free booze for playing this stupid game?

Sure I'll provide the drinks, I just want you to have a good time.

Ace Duck: I'll have a good time when I'm wasted and get some action from Mrs. Beakly.

Umm...ok.....We'll do you know the rules for the game?

Ace Duck: Sure I use a card and you give me a beer.

.....We'll I dont play card games I just bought them because they looked cool. So let's wing it.

Ace Duck: Okay, I have the stupid shiny rat card. I win right?

No I need to get another card to do a counter attack and own you quicker than Launchpad McQuack.

Ace Duck: Shut the @%!# up! I'll kill that @%! #@#! duck! Fat bird stole my gig, money, and my chicks! I'll KILL YOU TOO IF YOU DON'T MAKE WITH THE SUDS!

Woah...hit a little nerve there....alright I'll use my...

CASEY JONES CARD!!!

Ace Duck: WTF!? Whats the damn sudden movements! If I get injuried I'm going to sue your ass for every penny you got!

Alright Ace Duck, your being a jerk and we both don't know how to play. I'm going to have to ask you to leave.

Ace Duck: I know where you sleep samurai! I'll come back with Wing-Nut and we'll kill you in horrible ways.

With your drunken aim? You couldn't even kill a Fugitoid!

Ace Duck: I'm taking your stupid card, sell it, and going to buy some damn Guinness!

I don't like card games very much. But they look damn cool. Nice artwork on them and best of all NO ACE DUCK!

hey cool stuff, I don't have none of the playing cards yet.

Or any of the DVDs or any of the new tosy except the first 4 tutles, april, casey, and a few others.

I really enjoy the card game. I think it will be better when the expansion set comes out, because right now startegy is a bit limited due to lack of cards.

Where is that expansion set anyway? It was supposed to be due out this month, and now it's over.

Heh, funny story you wrote there Sanjuro. I've considered picking up some of the cards but I wouldn't have anyone to play the game with, so eh...maybe just for the artwork. On the other hand, has anyone seen the Fleer set that should've been out by now? I have had a difficult time finding it anywhere...

By the way, did you get that Metroid: Zero Mission cardboard promo from EB Games? I found two seperate stores in my area that each had one, and they both told me that if I left my name and number that they'd put it in a raffle once they no longer needed the props. No such luck for me, though =\
