We Wish You A Turtle Christmas!

Man, that live-action video special is messed up something awful!

Seriously, the 3rd Turtle movie is better than it! At least in that movie, the Turtles don't break out in mind-numbing songs like "Deck the halls with pep-per-roni" followed by "No Bebop and no Rocksteady" and Mike singing opera in a real opera voice at Times Square. Not to mention at Times Square, him or his brothers were acting like they didn't have a care in the world to even disguise themselves before surfacing from the sewers! At least, Mike put on something even if it was just a wicked long white scarf around his neck! That scarf must have been over the length of him by 12" since the ends hung at his knees when he was wearing it!

And the Turtles' faces are frozen in smile mode the whole time so that ruins the effect in certain instances like when they're in a heated arguement about what to get Splinter for a present!

Sadako's referring to the video, We Wish You A Turtle Christmas. It was released a long time while the old 'toon was still airing. I've never actually seen the video (though I swear I will someday!) but I've seen pics. It looks terrible and completely cheesy. The video was a very sad attempt at live action TMNT, and like Sadako said, TMNT III had better costumes. Still... I wanna see it just because it's TMNT.

I haven't seen the video either, but I do have a CD with the songs on it. Some are corny, but I thought others were really cute. I have seen the awful costumes, but even so, I've got to see this.

he wanted to be like the 4th Doctor with the scarf (DrWHO #4 wore a 24' multicolored scarf.....looped around at least 3x)

That is the most frightening and insulting attempt at some kind of TMNT thing.
