Tales of the TMNT Vol. 2 #3 Discussioin (Spoilers)

Well it's finally here. The return of the Shredder. This time in the form of a gigantic shark-octopus-Saki-worm clone abomination.

This issue was pretty sweet. I'm glad to see the return of old Shred head, even if for only a short while. It's also cool to see the Foot Mystics get to see some action in this series (2 + 3). I can't wait for the conclusiion. Let's see how Shredder gets it this time.

Although one certainly has to wonder how many sharks and octopi are in the Hudson river?

??? How did The worm clones come back? The last we saw of them, they were burning to a crisp.

I really liked it. Especially the art and the cover was effing amazing. Yeah though I felt that it was a little short too, but remember, it is continued in Tales Of The TMNT #4...

I thought it was a good issue. The "CthuluShredder" is just nuts, I can't wait to see how they take him down. And the back up was short and effective. All around good stuff. This book is realy shaping up quite nicely, in my opinion.

I have to agree with just about everyone else here!
this issue was really good and it has me waiting for the next issue!
not many comics make me do that anymore so it's a much welcome thing.
so yea the art doesn't look as bad as I thought it would it looks a hell of allot better in print form then online...but yes the art is nice it reminds me of a nice mix of the archie series and the image comics turtles.
It's also very nice seeing the foot mystics in the comics along with allot of other things it just seems kinda odd to me that these things were never mentioned not to seem rude or anything but it sort of seems like this is being done to get new toon fans to like the comics but really I don't care it's fine if thats the case anything for more turtle comics.
I really like the worm clone shredder shark!
reminds me allot of Peters Lairds Character Armaggon I wonder if his drawing have inspired this creature?
the ending to this issue is the best to great stuff....I don't much care for the backup story though the art was anything but good...I at first thought it was some bad fan story printed...I was like shesh I'm sure theres some better fan art they can print then that lol...
I love the new mail colum as well great stuff.
anyone else excited that they have plans to keep this going for some time I sure as hell am!
And omg THE FREAKING FOREVER WAR!!!
I can't believe they have been thinking of bring it out!
it has made me so sad for so long because I havn't been able to have that!
I say we pester them so they bring it out!
I think seeing that in the letters we the best about the entire issue I can't really believe they have thought about bringing the forever war out!
great stuff

Damn, I loved it.

I'm rather (really) new to the Mirage comics so the Tales of TMNT books are right up my alley. Mutant Shredder was all around tight. I DEFINATELY like this issue's artist. I hated the artist they had for the last issue and I'm not particularly fond of the artist they've got for Vol.4 (same guy, right?). This one was great (though Splinter's head was HUGE).

Anyway, a good read though that supplementary "story" at the end was rather worthless.

It was a great issue. The drawing style was ok but I didn't like it. Splinter looks funky. I'm glad I wasn't eating when I read it. There were some gross action like Leo cutting Saki's head and all those worms and that Foot Mystic weirdo putting that worm in his mouth and saying you got to love the worm to be able to see what it sees Shark/octopus shredder looked wicked. I can't wait to see how they get out of this one. They did mention a monkey god right. Weird

Great Issue, this might make a good episode of the new cartoon if they ever use it.

I finally got around to picking this up, and I gotta say.....Very, very good issue. Far better than the last issue. Better art and a better story. I can't wait for the next one!

Ohhhh...that's sarcasm. I get it.

But you might want to consider getting your own unique sig anyway rather than copying someone elses. Ya know. Develope a personality?
