Has being a geek been hard on your love life?

As a geek/nerd I have been finding it difficult to meet a woman who is willing to date a guy who collects toys and watches cartoons/ reads comic books. I've had women try to change me and it really hurts. My first girlfriend/fiance left me because I refused to change to her standard of manly and sell off my collectibles and stop watching anime. The last girl I dated back in 2012 basically had the same plan even though she collected dolls.

It's rough out here in the real world for a nerd.

Anyone else have similar issues?
