The problem with having another, more popular 'third party' is that there's no guarantee that party wouldn't become corrupted, from the get-go or eventually. One of the major components of politics is politicians and their party getting funded, and thus gaining more visibility to the public. Most of that money is potentially dirty. Politicians are not generally idealists, and those who are rarely get elected (I think someone said this once...was it Carlin?? I don't know, but I remember this coming from somewhere). Another issue is that even if we get another political party to choose from, it's just going to splinter the populace even more. We, as a people, are more fractured and disconnected than ever. And people are not holding their politicians accountable, especially those in their 'team'. This is why power grabs done by the left are allowed by, well, the leftist supporters, and the same goes for the right. "My team can do no wrong" is the mentality that's destroying the country. We should really be demanding better 'service' from our leaders, on BOTH SIDES.

But nah. Best to just to post crap on Twitter, and yammer on about 'those filthy other guys' to get brownie points from the home team. In the meantime, the country continues to spin around the toilet with the many, many problems plaguing this nation (this world, really) getting worse.

The value of the nuclear family, protecting kids from indoctrination, the 2nd amendment, and securing the border, for starters. That's enough vs. the other side, who doesn't care about even one of those things and openly so.
Ah, yes. The politicians on the right are totally saving the nuclear family, and 'protecting kids'. They'll singlehandedly bring back true morality to the US! I'm sure they'd never, ever turn if a corporation gave them a huge enough sack of cash. They're the modern day knights of the roundtable who can do no wrong. They also totally fought for the US when the lockdowns and vaccination mandates happened, and went out on a limb to defend all of our rights... Oh, wait. They didn't. Aside from the governor of South Dakota, they all enacted restrictions, and did nothing to combat that stuff, particularly outside their own 'bubble'. Hm. Yeah, true heroes!
